Juliette Bloom was heartbroken and Conrad Fisher was the reason why. He didn't meant to hurt her but he did it anyways. They were both 16 and in love, but then something happened that changed everything. She knew the fisher boy and his brother since her family moved in next door in New England.
Her Mother befriended their Mother Susannah who invited her to the summer house and Juliette spent her time time with the boys. And when the first summer for them in cousins beach came she got introduced to Belly and her brother. These were the kids of Susannah's best friend. That summer the mothers became a trio and Juliette got introduced to her future best friends.
Belly and Juliette were inseparable, belly was there when Juliette got her first boyfriend and when he broke her heart. She was there when she broke her arm after she fall off a tree, of when she found out that her biological father had died. They simply could talk about everything; boys, makeup, volleyball, and their little crushes.
When Juliette discovered that she had a crush on Conrad the first thing she did was calling Belly and told her. To her surprise she didn't sounded happy, but because of her excitement she just shrugged it off.
So when she turned fifteen she finally told him about her feelings and at first everything seemed fine but at the same day one year later her heart broke in thousand pieces. He had broken her heart, unwanted but he still did it.
After this Juliette started distancing herself from everyone she normally hanged out with, her Grades went bad and she got into a relationship she actually didn't wanted. But the most confusing part was that one day before summer started and Belly would come aging her biological family contacted her.
So in conclusion she wasn't that exited for this summer, she had to see Conrad again, who she still loved so much even though she was in a relationship and she had to think about what she would do with the message her biological mother had sent her.
