Twenty Four

"Alright little lady. Its bath time. When's the last time you've had one of those?" I asked.

"Yesterday night." She said.

"Well that's a first." I said smiling.

Taylor cleaned up the mess and I took Delilah in to the bathroom. I took off her clothes from today which were surprisingly nice. They looked brand new.

I ran her bath water while she used the bathroom.

"Your water is ready honey bunch." I said.

"Okay mama." She said flushing the toilet.

The bath was deeper and set up kind of high so I lifted her gently in to the tub. She set in the water comfortably and smiled.

"I love you mommy." She said smiling up at me.

"I love you too baby." I smiled grabbing strawberry scented soap. She grabbed it from my hand and began to wash herself.

"I'll be back in one second baby. I need to get a towel for you."

"Okay mama."

I walked out to the room and I hugged Taylor. He hugged me back as a laid my head on his chest.

"You didn't ask any questions."

"Eh I don't think I need to." He sighed.

I let go and kissed Taylor's cheek. I grabbed a towel and walked back in to the bathroom.

"You ready to get out babygirl?" I asked.

"Yes mama." She said standing.

I noticed that her bruising looked slightly better after the medic had wrapped her ribs in bandages. I wrapped her in the towel after drying her hair slightly.

She had long curly hair like mine which I thought was cool but she has light brown eyes. She has a tanner complexion than Taylor and I.

Taylor set her clothes on the bed and I set her in my lap still wrapped in the towel. I dried her off and put her pajamas on her.

Taylor came out of the bathroom in his pajamas and set next to me in our bed.

Our as in Lilah and mine.

"I'm going to put on my pajamas. Make your daddy put on a movie." I smiled as I got pajamas out of my suitcase.

I walked to the bathroom and changed my clothes. I put my hair up in a messy bun and put on Taylor's tie dyed bandana that I stole from his suitcase earlier today.

I walked out of the bathroom and I guess Lilah made Taylor find Monsters Inc. I sat in bed and pulled the blankets over Lilah and I. Taylor played the movie, turned the lights off, and then climbed in bed next to Lilah.

Lilah cuddled up to his left side and Taylor pulled me in to his right side as the movie started. As we watched the movie Lilah slowly fell asleep. She looked absolutely adorable especially since Taylor was already asleep with her cuddled up to him.

I slowly fell asleep as the movie progressed.
