Mate? What's that sir?...

Wolves?!

So I've just found out that there is a school around here. They don't have a McDonalds, a Starbucks or a shopping center around here, but they have a freakin' highschool?! Argh. Kill me now! Don't actually do it though... 

Anyway, me and Dad have made up and right now I'm making him some dinner for when he gets back from work. He works at the farm in the next village, so I think he gets tired cooking after working from six am until 6pm. I hope he likes it. I've made him Shepherds Pie, Chips, Pea's and gravy. Home made may I add. I am a dab hand at cooking. Mum used too like my Spaghetti Suprise. The suprise was I added lots of chilli peppers. Don't turn your noses up, it's actually really nice. 

"I'm home" I heard Dad say. 

"In here, I've got a suprise for you!" I called back, quickly serving up and putting it on the table for us. 

I stood there and took the apron off, looking at the door smiling ready for him too see the suprise. He came in with a news paper and put the kettle on. 

"Dad?" I asked him. 

He put the paper down and looked at me expectantlty. When he clocked the dinner his face turned into a frown and he slammed his fist on the table, making me jump. 

"What have you done?!" He shouted at me, walking over to me. 

I took a step back and looked at him in confusion. 

"S-Shepherds pie. i thought that you would appreciate it seen as you've been at work all day" 

"Stay away from the cooker Alice. What have I told you? You stay away from the cooker! You're just like your mother" He growled in my face. 

What the fuck?!

"You know what, I did it as a nice suprise for you. I thought it would be a nice thing to do as you've been at work all day!" I shouted back at him, crossing my arms and glaring. 

"Well you thought wrong didn't you?" 

"Mum was right. I always thought she was mean when she said we couldn't come and visit, but you know she was always right! You are so nasty. Nobody can do anything right for you can they?"

"Don't you dare bring Claire into this" He warned, shaking. 

"Yeah, what you going to do? Hit me like you used to do her?" I shouted, storming out of the back door and slamming it in his face. I carried on walking, not caring where I ended up. How very dare he! No wonder mum kept me away all these years. When her and dad were argueing downstairs, it wasn't the tv at all. He was yelling because he couldn't get his own way. Stupid son of a bitch. 

Hold the phone.. doesn't Gran live in the next village? I think she does.. I'll go and see, then I'll stay with her for a while until he decides to apologise for being a top dick head. I looked around and realised I was in the forest. I looked around and could no longer see any signs of houses or anything else for that matter. 

"Oh great, wait ago Alice!" I muttered sarcastically to myself, kicking a stone.

I saw a little rock mound and decided to go and sit on it for a little while. When I got comfortable, I layed back and decided too count how many clouds I could see too calm me down. 

"One.... two....threee..." I sighed boredly, interupted by a stick cracking infront of me. 

I quickly shot up and myn breath got caught in my throat, as a huge brown wolf stood there. He had big yellow eyes and was absoutly huge!

"Oh fuck" I whispered, absoloutly terrified. 

I slowly got up and kept my eyes on the wolf, who stared at me with some sort of weird longing look? Yeah, probably too eat me. I then shot up and ran away as fast as I could. But this wolf was on my tail. I screamed really loud and I heard my Dad calling my name.

I tripped over something and turned around quickly, seeing the wolf still chasing me, I backed myself up oh so smartly into a tree. He stopped infront of me and growled, making me whimper. 

"Please don't eat me" I pathetically squeeked, earning a puzzled look from the wolf. 

Just then, Dad came running infront of me and growled at the wolf.

"Back off Oliver" He growled at the wolf, puffing his chest. 

The wolf growled at  him and they both stared eachother out, until I stood up and grabbed hold of Dads hand but staying behind him. 

"Dad come on, it's a wolf! We need too go!"

"Ok" He said, giving the wolf one last glare before putting me infront of him and walking bak to what I assumed too be home. 

When we got there, Dad looked at me with his arms folded. I then broke into tears and hugged him, in pure shock of the events that just happened. I felt him sigh and he hugged me back, stroking my hair. 

"Hushhh, it's ok. Everything's ok" he soothed. 

"I-I-I thought... I.." I said, between sobs. 

"Come on, go and do what you girls do before bed. You've got school tomorrow" He said, tapping my back in a manly manner. 

Can't you tell he hasn't been around a woman in a while? 

"Sure Dad, see you tomorrow" I said, wiping my tears and trudging up the stairs. 

Tomorrow is going to be a long day.
