Ranoa Magic University First Year (Part 1)

Author here, with another chapter to this fanfic.

The RMU series will have less parts to it than when Rudeus shows up. That is around 5 years later.

To avoid confusion: Y/N, Diana and Nina are 1 year older than Eris, that means 3 years older than Rudeus. I used the logic based on chapter 60 in the Manga.

Y/N POV

Here I am, standing in front of this so called Magic University.

I need to find the principal's office.

Look at all the uniforms. They have Japanese style uniforms.

There seem to be students who also do sword training.

To me the MC of this fic, they look like nothing but amateurs. But I shouldn't let my ego as a Sword Saint get the better of me.

But it would still be fun to see a 12 year old first-year besting maybe fifth-years that are older than me.

Oh yeah I forgot that I need to look for the principal.

I walk to one of these amateurs.

"Excuse me. Do you know where the principal's office is?" I ask a boy that looks to be 5 years older than me.

*15 minutes later*

God that place was hard to find. If I knew that guy was bad at directions, I wouldn't have asked him.

Anyway I knock on the door.

"Enter." Comes from the other side of the door.

I open the door and walk inside to see a white haired old man that looks like the nutcracker in 'The Nutcracker' and another man with a wide forehead.

"Good afternoon sirs, I am Y/N L/N from the Holy Land of Swords." I introduce myself.

"Ah we were expecting you. I'm am vice-principal Janis." Forehead says.

"I am principal (Forgot his name). Welcome to Ranoa Magic University." Nutcracker says.

They said that I have to fight someone so they can see what I can do.

Sounds interesting.

They make an announcement and have me and my opponent stand on a Magic Circle.

I look my opponent up and down.

Big build, looks like he uses Magic and seems to be a Beastman. He looks strong but his Magic Power is weaker than mine.

I didn't listen much since that stuff was explained to me earlier.

So my opponent's name is Richard and he is a fourth-year here. He's like 20 or something.

And he looks at me arrogantly. "I'll squash you like a fly. You wanna be Special Student, you're a kid." He says grinning at me.

Is he one of those species called musclebrains? The ones who have brawns for brains.

No wait I have to be careful here. I'm in the best Magic school here.

"Let the fight begin." Forehead yells. I unsheath my sword readying my fighting stance.

That Richard Guy starts to chant an Earth Magic Spell. So that's what he meant with squash me like a fly. Before he can even use it I already rushed at him while hitting him on his feet, his kneecaps, his abdomen, his shoulders, and the back of his neck with the hilt of my sword. He collapsed to the ground unconscious.
