Everything started with love. Love caused this chaos. Love cost people their lives. Love is the reason why I'm on the run.
The Raven turned my parents into Scarecrows as a warning for the Runaways. Mostly the warning was for my older brother, Bones, the leader of the Runaways. Bones left when the Fallout began and I haven't seen him since.
I've been searching for the Runaways for months now. Sadly, since Aeon City is so large, I haven't found any clues that will lead me to them. I've come across people who tell me great stories of Bones and the Runaways, but none of them know where the Runaways are.
The Scarecrows have come after me a few times. I've been able to hide, but I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. More and more Scarecrows are on patrol everyday. If they catch me they'll be able to trap Bones and the Raven will have complete control. Freedom must be fought for.
-3rd person POV-
Bones replays the Raven's message over again for the tenth time today. The message only fuels his hatred for the Raven and plans to stop at nothing to get his family back.
The Runaways worry about Bones. They've never seen him so determined before. They idolize his determination but fear that it will be the death of him.
Andy, the second-in-command, is the only one that knows just how furious Bones can become. Andy was the one that persuaded Bones to lead the Resistance. As of now, Andy regrets forcing Bones into a position that has cost him his family.
Everybody has been feeling the stress within the past few days. The increase in Scarecrows keeps everybody on their toes. More and more members of the Resistance are captured daily. Worst of all, the Raven is one step closer to achieving ultimate control.
