Baffled

The Finding...

"Rikki, Rikki!"

I shouted holding my dog's broken harness as snow is obstructing my view. I have two Serbian huskies Rikki is an active, beautiful tan coat with two tone eyes, but his attitude is disobedient. Tikki is also very active, gorgeous black and white coat with sparkling blue eyes and she well behaves.
Rikki tends to want to break lose and explore during crucial times instead of on his free time. Leaving me stranded and worried. 
I glanced at my watch on my wrist, 4:21 p.m.
Already freezing and irritated I began pulling my sled  in the direction of  my wondrous dog's foot steps. As I followed the twisted trail I started to notice the footprints glowing with a blue hue. Stunned in my own disbelief yet frightened with what is in front of me. What could be the cause for this blue hue? Is this place or snow radio active? Are we in danger? "Rikki!" Panic set in. I followed the blue hue until it was covered with fresh snow. "Tikki I don't even think we're getting home at this point." I joking say to her.

I heard the sound of footsteps accompanied with panting. "Who are you?" A deep voice questioned me. "I'm just looking for my dog sir I don't mean to cause harm he broke lose while taking fish to the market In ole castle, White Sea coast. He is a tan Serbian husky, by chance have you seen him?" I asked the hidden stranger. My ears adjust to the wind enough to hear whimpers.
"Your name?" The stranger was persistent in his investigation. "Joel McConnell."
I heard the click of a clasp then a pounce. It was Rikki happy to be returned to my care. "Thank you very much sir I'm sorry for any trouble he has caused." I said to the stranger.
He said nothing in response.
"May I ask who are you?" I began to wonder myself with his unfriendly behavior.
"Scientist Hosea. Now you better take your dog and go." He snarled.
"You said your a scientist?"
"I also told you to leave which you haven't."
"I think you should see this..."
