THE CARTER siblings needed a fresh start. After winning a long custody battle against their father, Wesley and Sasha packed up their lives and moved to Los Angeles California, a place familiar to them and as far away from their father as possible. 

Sasha was eager to get back to LA. The idea of going back to their second home was all the more comforting after uprooting her entire life and leaving everything and everyone behind. This would be the year she would branch out socially and maybe finally be accepted. No one was ever in a hurry to befriend the quiet girl with a limp and walking stick anyway.

It wasn't until she ran into old friends that she realized how much had changed in the years prior. An all out karate war for instant, was a major change, as well as her old childhood friends caught up in the mix.

HAWK HATED being called Eli. The name was attached to years of memories he'd rather forget, being bullied for his differences being one of them. Anyone who referred to him as Eli was clearly mistaken and was sure to be corrected. Cobra Kai put him on the map, his popularity was growing and he finally had everything he wanted.

Except for her.

But he couldn't have her, she left him when he needed her most without a single call or text. He was drowning in self-pity and she was the only one who could pull him out. When Sasha Carter returns to LA, Hawk has mixed emotions. She wasn't the same as she was, she was sadder and more closed off.

It shouldn't matter though, because Hawk has what he's always wanted and Sasha definitely doesn't need to be added to the mix, right?
