The girl had always been looked upon as an outsider. Stares had followed her wherever she went. She couldn't escape the constant whispering, or the curiosity people had when they first laid eyes on her.
However, whispers and stares are not usually a sign of good. She had realized that at a young age.
If they were looking at her, it usually meant trouble.
She had never met anyone that truly cared about her, truly loved her. She had constantly been pushed aside, unwanted and unloved.
She didn't ask to be born this way. She didn't ask to be born as a psychic, mind-reading girl. She didn't ask to be born with the ability to tell the future. She didn't ask to be able to create portals to other realms.
And she certainly didn't ask to be hated and made fun of for it.
In the small town, WattCity everyone knew everyone else's business. Especially in her Sub-Division, known as "Brawl Street" where fellow writers gathered to talk about their creations, wonderful works of art all relating to the game Brawl Stars.
So it hadn't been easy for her to hide.
She was thinking of leaving this town and starting over. A new life, somewhere else where nobody knew her. Looking into the future, she could tell this was a possibility.
It wasn't the only one though. Along those lines, those thin lines, strips of what could be and what was laid something else. Something she could not see. It was blurry and hard to make out. Unlike the future usually, something was wrong.
What was it...
Her thoughts of utter confusion were interrupted when something knocked into her, sending her sprawling backward.
She held out her hands, covering her face as she curled into a ball and fell to the ground.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! Pardon me!" The girl looked up to see who was speaking.
A dark-haired girl with beautiful blue eyes stared down at her. She was wearing a blue shirt with hanging sleeves, a pair of cuffed jean shorts, a scarf or neck warmer with a blue and white design, and a pair of long socks and black shoes. She looked...
Completely unfamiliar.
This was her chance! A fresh start!
"Oh, no worries." The girl said, standing up and brushing off her clothes.
"Really? Are you alright??" The dark-haired girl asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks. Who are you? You don't look familiar."
"Oh! Well, my name is Nutella! I just moved here hoping to start a Wattpad account and share my stories with people all over the world." The girl, Nutella answered.
"Who are you?" Nutella then asked, remembering her manners.
"Who am I? Uh... my name is..." The girl stumbled. She realized this was a chance to start over. A chance for someone to not know who she was.
But then she saw it. The future. Lying wouldn't work.
"My name is Kyanite." She said, locking eyes with Nutella.
"And I'm a Wattpad writer. I write Brawl Stars fanfiction."
"Really??" Nutella asked, and Kyanite detected excitement in her voice.
"Yeah. I've loved Brawl Stars for as long as I can remember and so I decided to start writing fanfic's about it!" Kyanite exclaimed happily.
Nutella gave a huge grin before speaking.
