Ellis wouldn't lie and say that being with Sigma wasn't the best thing to happen in the world. To Ellis, this meant EVERYTHING. Sigma was nurturing, kind, and had extreme mood swings which was revealed , by Sigma, that it was something he struggled to maintain for the years he had been "alive". Ellis didn't press further and quite fondly liked seeing Sigma let loose a little even if it meant being a tad bit depressed on some occasions; Sigma managed going by with Elli's help and getting the strange pills Akutagawa had given him after hearing about Sigma's extreme mood swings.
Through the small talks- Sigma and Ellis were rather close that one would assume they had a small bit of tension but they would both debunk it and would grow irritated with how frequent the question would be:
"Are you a couple?"
Which would result in Ellis loosing his mind and running away in frustration , She in fact was not angry that the people thought they were a couple but rather because they asked, with Sigma following behind while profusely apologizing to the people who have asked simply because he felt inclined to do it instead of just flipping them off like a bitch.
"I just don't get it Sig. Why would Chuuya even offer me to stay at his place if I have to do chores there as well?" Ellis whined and leaned on Sigma who flipped through the pages of a Teen Girl's Magazine
This was their free time. Whenever Ellis came over to the casino Sigma would drop mostly everything to see what Ellis needed and sometimes- it would be that Ellis felt lonely and needed to say something in order to get it off his system.
"Well Ellis, Chuuya offered you a place to stay so the least you can do is,, help keep things in check." Sigma said while tracing his fingers along the magazine's page with the bold words 'PINK IS THE NEW BLACK'
Ellis scoffed and crossed her arms in frustration. Sigma was right. If he wanted to stay with Chuuya then he needed to AT LEAST be clean and help around the house but she just couldn't do it. He hated cleaning and more importantly because the clean room wouldn't even last a day before it turned back into the messy, floor stained, and moldy room it was at the beginning of the clean up.
"Listen Ellis, it may be hard to do that but you have to understand that not everyone will tolerate you being messy. Tell you what- how about I come and clean with you every Saturday? how does that sound?" Sigma offered and immediately Ellis sprang back up and looked bewildered at Sigma's request
"Do you really want to?" Ellis shyly looked at Sigma with big eyes as if Sigma was her light and savior
Sigma smiled fondly and pulled Ellis into a warm embrace, patting his head then chuckling.
"Of course Ellis. You're my friend and dare I say- my reason of living."
There it was. That feeling. That burning wonderful yet disgusting feeling. It plagued Ellis's heart and would make him burst with emotions if it weren't for her type of job that required the user to be rather heartless at times. Ellis loved Sigma- maybe more than a friend considering how these emotions only overtook him whenever Sigma would do something ,as little as, staring fondly at her. It made him queasy and rather shy to even be near Sigma but without Sigma- Ellis would die. It's like fire with no oxygen- it can't exist if not for the oxygen helping it become a big fire. Through that thought Ellis thought this love as pure- Sigma kept Ellis alive and Ellis was Sigma's reason of living which to many would be pure and lovely but Sigma didn't see it yet. In fact he still chooses to blindly believe these feelings Ellis ,so obviously, had for him were ideally friendship and only that. It dwindled the fire that Sigma sparked in Ellis's heart but nevertheless it was fine.
As long as Ellis stayed close to Sigma, nothing bad could possibly happen.
