"So, the Walcott's were the first, at least the first we know about, four murders. Sean, his brother and their parents."
"They were killed by a professional assassin called the mute. Weapon of choice? A military tomahawk, but then the mute was killed by Peter Hale, after he tried to blow up Derek with a Claymore mine."
"Next was Demarco, he delivered a can for the party at Lydia's Lake house and got decapitated outside his car,"
"And then last night, 23-year-old Carrie Hudson," Stiles finishes and I nod. "It's a dead pool, a-a hitlist of supernatural in Beacon Hills. This is only part of it," Scott explains and shows Noah the hit list.
"The rest still has to be decoded," I say and Mr. Stilinski looks at it. "Who found this list?" He asks and Stiles looks at me. "Lydia," he says and Mr. Stilinski frowns. "How?" I swallow hard, knowing how ridiculous it sounds.
"She wrote it," Stiles says, knowing how dumb and sort of suspicious that sounds. "It sounds actually she transcribed it. Without realising." He says and I nod. Lydia found 1 out of the three decoded hit lists, there were supernaturals on it, only supernatural.
"Banshee?" Mr. Stilinski asks and I nod. "Banshee," I confirm and he nods. "Beautiful," he says and I nod.
"Alright, what are these numbers next to the names?" Noah asks and I chuckle. "We're getting to that," I say and he looks at Stiles. "First, you need to know that the code was broken with a cipher key." Stiles says and Mr. Stilinski looks even more confused.
"Wait, you mean, like a... like a key word?" He asks and I nod. "It's actually a name." I say and Scott nods. "Allison," Scott says and we look at each other in silence.
"Her name broke a third of the list," Scott says and looks sad. "And now we think there's two other cipher keys," Scott explains and Mr. Stilinski catches on. "Which will give us the rest of the names." He says and I nod.
"Okay. So how do we get the cipher keys?" He asks and Stiles shrugs, opening and closing his mouth. "Same way we got the code." I say and Scott nods. "Lydia. She's been at the lake house all weekend trying to find the other two key words." I say and look at Stiles.
"You didn't know about Demarco or Carrie hmm?" Mr. Stilinski asks while looking at the pictures and I nod. "And what about these other two names on the list? Uh, Kayleen Bettcher and Elias Town," he asks and looks up.
"They werewolves too?" He asks and I shrug. "I don't know, but Deaton said that the Nemeton would draw supernatural creatures here." Scott explains and I nod in agreement. "Here being Beacon hills? Or Beacon County?" Mr. Stilinski asks and I look at Stiles, wondering if he knows.
"The population of Beacon Hills is just under 30,000." Mr. Stilinski says. "And dropping," Stiles adds and I look down. "But if we're talking Beacon County, then you're looking at close to 500,000." He interrupts and I sigh, this is impossible.
"Look, how many werewolves, banshees, kitsunes and whatever the hell else is out there are we talking about?" He asks and sits down.
"And what happens if the next cipher key uncovers not 12 names, but 100?" He asks and Stiles shrugs. "We don't think there would be that many. There's a limit," Stiles says and I nod. "Because of the numbers," I say and I look at Stiles again.
