"He covered you in gasoline?" Derek breaks the very thick tension in the air. I wasn't there, but Stiles told me he and Lydia saw a burned Parrish, sort of naked.

"Yeah," he says and Lydia frowns. "It's the hair and nails isn't it? The parts of the body that are essentially dead," Lydia says and I frown.

Me, Lydia, Scott and Derek were looking at Parish, wondering what the hell he is.

"I was set on fire, all of me should be gone," he says and I open my mouth, but Scott is faster. "Not if you're like us," he says and Parrish looks confused. "Like you?" He asks and Derek shakes his head.

"I don't think he's like us," he says and I sigh. "Then what is he?" I ask and look at Parrish. "Sorry, but I have no idea," he says and Lydia looks at me. "I never dealt with your kind either, sorry dude," I say and look at Scott.

"But you knew about Jackson and Kira," Scott says to Derek and he nods. "This is a little out of my experience, there might something in the bestiary, did you try Argent?" Derek asks and Scott looks at him, shaking his head.

"I don't know where he is," I bite my lip and randomly think about Liam, I can't believe we're back together. "Okay, hold on, what's a bestiary?" Parrish asks and I look at Scott. "Actually that's not even my first question. Just tell me one thing, are all of you like Lydia? Are you all psychic?" He asks and I scoff.

"Psychic?" Derek asks somewhat surprised and I shake my head. "Not exactly," I say and look at Scott. "Okay... then what are you?" Derek and Scott share a look and then Scott closes his eyes, when he opens them revealing his red eyes.

"Werewolves," I say proudly and Parrish looks somewhat... worried. "You guys can do the explaining," and they do, Parrish isn't the dumbest person, but it's a lot to take in of course.

"What's a kanima?" He asks and Lydia looks somehow irritated. "We'll get back to that, just know that everyone like us, everyone with some kind of supernatural ability is on a dead pool," Scott explains and Parrish looks at me.

"Are you like-like Black Widow? Invincible?" He asks and I scoff. "I wish, no. I'm just very skilled," I say and he nods. "But I don't even know what I am," Parrish asks and I shrug. "I'm pretty sure they don't care," I say and Parrish looks at Lydia.

"How many professional assassins are we talking about?" He asks and she sighs. "We're starting to lose count," she says and I shake my head. "But is it still just professionals?" Scott asks and I scoff. "Of course not. The Orphans and the mouthless guy maybe, but that Simon dude? When he held the gun he was shaking. A pro doesn't do that," I say like it's easy math and Parrish nods.

"I don't think Haigh's ever tried anything like this," he says and I look at him. "I think he was taking a chance," I let out a long sigh and cross my arms. "That means anyone with the dead pool can take a chance," Derek says and Parrish looks at me again.

"If Haigh had it, then who else does? How easy is it to get this thing now?" Derek and Scott share a look and Lydia crosses her arms. "Meredith and my grandmother met each other once, but I think once was enough," she explains and I frown.

"How did your grandma know her?" I ask and Lydia sighs. "She didn't, she found her, because of another woman named Maddy," she says and I frown "Another Banshee?" I ask and Lydia shrugs.

"It was the woman she loved," Lydia says and stands up, showing Scott the photo. "I never met her. But I saw her name everywhere, she used to be part of a yacht racing team," she starts and walks around, as if trying to remember as best as possible.

"There were plaques and trophies in the lake house from all the regattas she'd won," she says and Parrish frowns. "How'd she die?" He asks and Scott looks at me, then at the photo again.

"How's not the story, it's what happened right before. My grandmother Lorraine, used to work in San Francisco for IBM."

"She was there on a weekend. Catching up on work, she started hearing this sound... like rain, but when she looked out the windows, nothing."

"But she kept hearing the rain?" Scott wonders and Lydia looks outside. "And it just kept getting louder, rain and thunder, cracking like gunshots in her head. So loud she finally just screamed." She says and Derek nods. "Like a Banshee," he says and Lydia turns to him

"She called Maddy, who was planning on taking one of the boats out on the lake, but Maddy said that the sun was shining there too, so Lorraine didn't say anything," she explains and I look down.

"There was an accident." I assume and Lydia nods. "It took them 4 days to find Maddy's body and then it took decades to figure out how Lorraine knew," she continues and I nod. "She started with parapsychologists. Like the PhD in their name made it more scientific."

"They built the study in the lake house according to every pseudoscientific theory they could find, none of it worked," she says and I nod. Of course it didn't.

"Then she started getting into more extreme occult, things like mediums and psychics, all of them failures. Until Meredith. They found her at Eichen ouse. The fragile girl who didn't understand the things she had,"

"They brought her to the study and they almost killed her, she was hospitalised for over a year, she... never really recovered." She says and looks down. "My grandmother drove her insane and I drove her to suicide. All she ever wanted to do was help," she finishes and gets out a paper, walking to the table, quietly.

"My grandmother created the code for the dead pool, they think she's the Banshee who put the names out in the first place, she left me this message in the same code," she says and I look at the message, not understanding it of course.

"But she didn't leave a cipher key did she?" Scott asks and Lydia shakes her head. "We should go home," he says and I nod, we say our goodbyes and I go to Liam's house, seeing his light on.

I get in and he looks at me. "Skye," he says and I nod. "Hey," he says and I look at him, smiling wary. "Hey, I just came by to check up on you." He says and I nod, not really knowing what to say. "Are you okay?" I ask and he sighs. "I um, I keep seeing Berserkers, I have nightmares and I'm worried about you," he says and I chuckle.

"You don't have to worry about me, but I'm sorry about your nightmares." I say and sit down on his bed. "Is it bothering you much?" I ask and I kiss his cheek.

"No, I mean..." He says and looks at my lips. "I can make you forget?" I ask and he nods. "Mm," he says and I smirk, I got close to him, our lips brushing against each other.

I kissed him and he opened his mouth, letting my tongue in. I dominated the kiss and my eyes were closed. I unbuckled his belt undid his pants, shoving them down while making out... it was hard.

. . .

"I love you Liam," I say and he smiles. "I love you too,"
