ENEMIES YESTERDAY contains 6 poems which reveals all the fears I had growing up.
Poems will be released one at a time. I hope I can find someone who can relate to all of my struggles, yes I would like to hear you out. I started writing When I Go Off Track, which is the first poem in this album, around December 2020 after having a whole year full of struggles and anxiety.
This album consists:
01. WHEN I GO OFF TRACK
Did you ever fear having no one beside you as you grow older? You slowly fade away; each year spent is a year closer to destruction. Who will be there when all of your strength are now gone?02. MDD (MALADAPTIVE)
I came to a point where I can't distinguish reality from daydreams anymore. I don't know if it was because I was afraid to face the truth or if it's because the things in my dreams are too good to be true.
This poem depicts a love story, supposed to be a real one but then because the persona was so attached to her fantasies, she refused to take her lover's phone call and even his love for her.03. WHEN YOU PROPOSE
I have big dreams when it comes to relationships. With me being on an age with almost all of my classmates are in a relationship, I sometimes think about whether I should settle with someone or I should just stay single.
Despite me being a hopeless romantic, I am also scared of commitments. And that led me to this poem wherein the persona is confused whether to walk down the aisle or simply cancel the wedding.04. GRAVITY
Moving on from a certain person is tough; but keeping yourself in touch with them, pretending everything is okay or that you don't mind the damage they caused is way much worse. In trying to fix things with that person, you thought you two could lift each other up, but your issues keep pulling the both of you, like gravity to destruction.05. FACE OFF
That was 2014. A sudden event changed my life. I trusted people more than I should. Back then, I was only thirteen when predators start attacking me. If only I had the courage to speak for myself back then. If I were to speak with the 13 year old me, what would I say?06. HAUNTED
While GRAVITY (poem 04) talks about my struggles in choosing to stay with someone that is toxic for me, this poem talks about the memories that I keep on forgetting. You succeeded in letting go, but you keep seeing it in your dreams. They keep on coming back to you, as if you're haunted by someone's ghost.

MY POEM COLLECTION
PoetryI have a lot of poems on my drafts so I think it would be better to drop them here. I will divide them into different parts in which a part (probably consists 5-8 poems) is a whole universe, with its own characters, with its own coverage. Hope y'all...
