"Y/N hurry up were gonna be late" my mother called from the kitchen "I know Mama but I can't find my shoe's" I yelled back "Th.. there in my room" Diego called out, As I rushed to his room I didn't really understand why they where there in the first place, "Y/N" My mother called again "I know Mama I'm coming" I said sprinting down the stairs, "god it's our first time being invited to a party since we moved here and your gonna make us late" my Papa said angrily "I'm sorry Papa but Diego had my shoe's" I said remembering that he had them "Diego why did you have your brothers shoe's" my mama said "I wanted to look like him his stuff is cooler" he said trying to hide his gaze from my parents "Diego you can't take people's things with out asking" I told him. As we neared the colourful house I noticed a very buff girl carrying donkeys to a little paddock and a boy with brunette curls and green eyes. As we got closer to him he turned Into my Papa a shocked expression plastered onto all of our faces "Uh.. hola my name is Camilo madrigal welcome to our home" he smiled and ushered my family inside. As I was about to walk inside he appeared in front of me "hola I haven't seen you round here before you new or something" he said with a puzzled look on his face "A.. sí me and my family moved here a week ago" "cool .. uh I'm gonna be honest there isn't a lot of people who look my age and I was thinking since your new do you want to be friend's" He asked "um .. ye..yea sure I guess I haven't really had the time to meet anyone" he looked at me and grinned "cool uh... Well I'll see you round uh.." "oh sorry my names Y/N"
I say in a slightly embarrassed tone "Well it's nice to meet you Y/N" He said turning into me and pushing my inside

As you walk into casita your eyes widen, bright lights hang from the ceiling, colourful flowers spread up and around columns, people are dancing and talking, suddenly a girl bumps into me "oh my bad sorry" she said in a soft tone "Ah no it's fine I should've been watching where I was going" "ah well I'm Mirabel" she said with a slightly embarrassed look on her face "I'm Y/N my family and me moved here a week ago" "cool have-" she was about to say something but then a familiar voice spoke behind me "Mirabel don't scare away our guest especially this one" he said with a smile on his face "shut up Camilo I'm not scarring him am I" she asked "n.. no no of courses not" "hey Y/N wanna hang out for a bit before the gifting" Camilo asked "ah sure its not like I have any other friends" he grab's my wrist and pulls me to the stairs were we sat and talked about our family's he told me about all of his family's gifts and how when Mirabel didn't get one everyone got really scared "that's why everyone's so stressed about my brother getting a gift tonight if he doesn't get one.. We'll we'll we I don't know" he said with a slightly anxious look on his face "it'll be fine he's gonna get a sick gift have a sick party and everyone's gonna be like
WoW AnTonIo yOUr so aMaZiNG like your brother" I joked his face smirked a little "wait you think I'm amazing" he asked "uh well you ..uh" "I'm joking Y/N" "so how about we go back to the party and I don't know dance? Or something" he asked me "yea sure ok" as you both stand up you notice that you two are the same height Camilo also seems to notice and gets on his tippy toes to get higher than you, you both start to giggle as you walking down the stairs "you know I'm free most of the week apart from Friday afternoon if you wanna hang out" I said
"Yea absolutely why not Friday afternoon" he asked confused "It's when I help my parents at the library" I told him "mhm li..br..ary" he sounded out "yea I don't think I know what that is" he said chuckling to him self then a girls voice piped up "Camilo hurry up were all waiting on you" "OK OK Dolores" "who's your friend" she asked "I'm Y/N I just moved here" she smiled "oh isn't that nice you finally have a friend Camilo" she chuckled dragging him away. As everyone gathered in the main hall drums started to play and an old woman I assume is Camilo's abuela  started to talk "Fifty years ago, in our darkest moment, this candle blessed us with a miracle. And the greatest honor of our family has been to use our blessings to serve this beloved community. Tonight, we come together once more as another steps into the light to make us proud". Then the tiles start to flip them selves over to show red creating a red carpet of sorts, the curtains flung open to show Antonio spotlights pointing at him, he just stood there he held his hand out waiting for something then Mirabel walked up to him from behind the curtain gasps could be heard threw out the room. Mirabel started to walk with Antonio clinging to her arm. when they walked past me I noticed Camilo staring at me I jumped a little, I waved at him and he didn't  seem to notice (he's probably day-dreaming). as Mirabel and Antonio got to the top of the stairs abuela Alma had Antonio grab the candle and say something it was hard to hear them he reached for his door, a weary look was visible on Almas face then he garbed his door handle and a bright light appeared and a toucan landed on his shoulder "Aha I understand you" the toucan started to squawk "yea they can come" noises erupted from outside the casita then animals started to flood in running to Antonio. when he opens the door everyone follows him. The room was huge on the Inside (I wonder what the others look like) a huge tree sprouted from the middle of the room, suddenly I felt something nudge into me it was a fucking jaguar. It ran right for Antonio and he got on the damb thing. It takes him all around his bedroom and comes back to the rest of us then all of the Madrigals got together for a photo all but one (where's Mirabel) I wondered. oh well this must be hard for her right now. Everyone started to dance and sing. I eventually found Camilo amongst the crowd of people "Ehem" I said as I tried to get his attention, he turns around as me and said "EhEm" with a weird look on his face we both laughed "hey want to hang" I asked "yeaa what do you want to do" he asked enthusiastically "uh I don't really know I thought you would have an idea" "oh ok how about we go and scare my sister" he said "ok that sounds fun" we left the busyness of Antonio's room to find Dolores. We went to her room but she wasn't there then we went to that garden and she wasn't there we were about to check the kitchen when a tall figure came from around the corner with musty clothes and dirty hair and yelled "Moriras" {YOU WILL DIE} me and Camilo screamed and tried to run but the person garbed our wrists and laughed then took off there mask and there stood laughing was Dolores "you two need to learn that you cant scare someone who can constantly hear you" she laughed as she walked away "you know she has a point that was kinda dumb of us" I said, Camilo smiled and said "yea but it was fun wasn't it" he sat there and talked for a while then we heard Mirabel and Alma talking when we walked out Mirabel looked sad and everyone was staring at her with either pity or annoyance, she started to walk off with her mother Julieta and the party resumed 

[TIME SKIP]                                                                                                                                                                                As the party started to die down and people started to leave Camilo asked if I wanted to check out his room (like I'm gonna pass this up) as we walk In there's a small stage of to the left with chairs and curtains on the right there's a reading nook and a wall of posters at the back of the room there was a very large bed with a very nice wooden trimming "Y/N guess what" "do you want me to actually guess or??" "no you don't actually have to guess but just look" he said as I looked at him confused he closed his eyes and the room started to change the bed changed into a group of chairs for guest's the stage turned into a large statue of some guy and the reading nook turned into a small library with chairs and tables "Oh my god Camilo how did you do that" "when I think really hard about what I want the magic will change my room for me" he said "Camilo that's so cool but why are there so many books and seats and who's that guy" I ask with a confused look on my face "there are so many chairs because I like to have people around and that statue is of my Abuelo Pedro he sacrificed himself to save my Abuela Alma" he said proudly "Camilo that's so sweet.. hey wh..what's all the mirrors for" oh uh I.. There" " Y/N where are you were leaving now" my Mama yelled "oh um I guess I should be going bye Camilo" "bye Y/N" he said a frown growing on his face
