It was December 16th and Louis was ready to propose. After almost 3 months of having the ring, he was going to ask the biggest question he never thought he'd have to ask.

As he looked in the mirror he began to practice.

"Harry I've thought so much about this and the truth is there's no amount of words that can explain how much you mean to me and my little sister. When I switched schools for my senior year I never thought the captain of the football team would end up stealing my heart and be the love of my life. I know we're still young, only 19, but my mom taught me to make whatever I want mine forever. You are what I want forever. I want to wake up next to you every morning, pick Ruby up from school with you and spend every chance I get making new memories with you." He let out a massive frustrated sigh then punched the door, "ughhhh!" He yelled.

Harry and Ruby came running from the kitchen.

"Bear, what's wrong?" Ruby asked scared.

"Just frustrated," he replied sending her an apologetic look.

"Oh," she said running into Lou's arms to comfort him. "It'll come out with the right words when the time is right."

"Thank you Silly," he replied pulling her closer.

Hazza had taken a picture of the two hugging, "Awww." He cooed.

Lou and Ruby's heads immediately shot to look at Haz.

"What was this all about Boo?" Haz asked nervously.

Louis chuckled, "Harry Wellington, I promised you One Day and I intend to keep that promise sooner rather than later." He looked over at Ruby who was smiling then continued, " when I first moved schools for my senior year I didn't think I would end up making friends, let alone end up falling in love with the quarterback and captain of the football team. The first day we met I knew I wanted you in my life forever. I've been trying to figure out the right words to say this for a very long time but there are no amount of words or words that can say what I want to say. I know we're still young, only 19 but I want my forever and I want it with you.
I want to wake up every morning cuddled into your chest and when I look up I wanna see your green eyes that I'm addicted to. When I go pick up my little sister from school, I want you to be the one who's picking her up with me. Whenever I leave the house I want you to be the person waiting for me to get back. I want all of this and so much more but I want all of it with you. Harry Wellington, I love you so much." He got down on one knee and popped out the box, "Will yoi do the honor of making me the happiest man alive by marrying me? And,"

"Joining our family and becoming my second big brother." Ruby cut in.

Harry was frozen, he was shocked by what had just happened. He tried to get words out but nothing would come out. Haz looked back and forth between Lou and Ruby who looked absolutely petrified, with Lou on the verge of tears.

"Yes," he finally managed to get out. The yes had startled Louis who had tears slowly falling down his face. Ruby ran up to Hazza first and gave him a hug then returned to the kitchen.

Louis stood up and looked up at his fiancé through the water in his eyes.

"Shhhhh. Its alright Loubear." Hazza said wiping the tears off of Lou's face. "I'm so sorry it took so long to say yes. I was caught off guard and wasn't expecting you to ask me especially right now, I promise it's not what you started thinking. Okay, Loubear?"

"Okay, I love you." Louis replied.

"I love you more." Haz replied pulling Lou into a kiss.

Ruby emerged from the kitchen screaming for pancakes, Hazza quickly pulled away from Lou to make his little sister pancakes. After they finished eating they decided to go for a drive and take Ruby shopping for new clothes since she had outgrown most of her old ones.

That night they had tacos for dinner and Harry being the child he is at heart made a mess with the hard shells.

"Really?" Lou exclaimed.

"What?" Harry replied innocently.

"Was that necessary?"

"Was what necessary?" He replied with a smirk.

"Making that mess with the shell!" Lou replied.

"Yes it was."

"Ughhhhh! You're such a child at times!"

"Yes I am but you love me even though I'm-"

"I do infact love everything about you even the things I hate." Lou cut him off.

"And I love everything about you even the stuff I don't like."

"Aww how cute," Miranda said.

"Mom!" Harry exclaimed.

"Hello dear!"

"How did you get in? And how long have you been standing there?"

"Ruby let me in and long enough to know you were trying to get out of cleaning up your mess!"

Harry pouted and began cleaning up his mess. Miranda rolled her eyes at her son and gave Lou a hug.

"Hello Miranda."

"Hello my dear. Can we talk?"

"Absolutely. Outside?"

Miranda nodded and they headed outside. Once the door had closed the conversation started.

"Have you proposed yet?"

"Yes ma'am, this morning."

"Okay. Listen I rant into Brady at the store."

"Brady? As in Harry's ex? The one who Harry always thought he'd marry?" Lou asked scared of the answer.

"Yes honey, that's the one. He asked me how Harry's doing and he mentioned how he was going to get in contact with Haz. I told him that's not a good idea but he didn't listen."

"Okay, should I be worried?"

"No Harry loved you and he knows you're the one for him. Just be there for him and make sure he knows you're not gonna hurt him the way Brady did. I have to rub but I had to make sure you knew what was coming."

"Yeah, no worries. Thank you." Lou replied.

Miranda left immediately afterwards leaving Louis to return to his financé who was about to relive the worst pain he had ever felt and Louis couldn't do anything to stop it. All he could do was wait and hope nothing bad would happen.
