"Papa? Do you hear me, papa?" Jungsoo says as she stood up on her chair and cupped Jungkook's cheeks. Jungkook is startled, staring at Jungsoo, who started giggling at his surprised expression. "You were imagining, papa" She says, making Jungkook laugh. "We should get going, baby... " He says and she nodded, getting off of the chair.
"Go take your backpack, darling" Jungkook says and she ran to her bed, taking the backpack and putting it on. Jungkook waited for her and she ran to him. They held hands and got down the stairs. "We should cook something for daddy when he gets back, papa" Jungsoo says, smiling.
"Hmm, okay... But what if he doesn't come home early?" Jungkook asks, he sees how Jungsoo pouted, making him sigh. "Okay, we'll cook for him" Jungkook says, smiling. Jungsoo giggles, jumping in happiness.
Jungkook sighs and stared at his phone where Jimin's caller ID is shown. He took a deep breath before calling him. It took a few seconds before he heard a voice.
"Hello?"
"Hyung... What time are coming home?" Jungkook asks, for Jungsoo, he didn't want her to be upset.
"I don't know..."
"Can you come home early? Jungsoo wants you home early... Please, just this once... It doesn't have to be for me... But please do it for your daughter" At this point, Jungkook's already begging. The thought of his daughter, crying for her father not being there when she thought about cooking for him hurts his heart.
"Okay, now don't interrupt me... I'm gonna be on another meeting"
Jungkook was about to say something when the call ended. He sighs, gripping his phone as he tried to hold back tears. He sees a pair of shoes in front of him, making him look up. There he saw Jaewon, smiling at him.
"We meet again, Mr Park"
