ALMOST DYING WAS A MOMENT YOU EITHER DON'T REMEMBER OR YOU REMEMBER THE FEELING UP UNTIL YOU think you took your last breath. It was either scary or serene; blissful or leaves you battered. Death could be inviting or unconsensual - there is no in between. There is no "I made a mistake!" and you suddenly get to redo.
There was only chance and not everyone would get the same chance as Ronnie Bennett who slowly opened her eyes, three days after being in and out of consciousness.
