I was currently working on doing a balayage on a mannequin in cosmetology school, Mari was working on full color over along with a cut. We had come a long way and in just 2 weeks we will be getting our license and finally be able to open our shop.

"Aye Mari." I whispered to her, she looked up from what she was doing, "hm?" "I'm so ready to be done with this." "Same i cant wait til we can officially open and start taking clients and everything." "Frl" we continued talking about ideas as we did more tasks our instructors told us to do.

After a couple hours of practicing we were done and ready to go. As we were walking ur towards her car she said, "bruh I'm starving" "same girl, let's get sum Chick-fil-A." I told her getting in as she started the car. "Bettt"

We listened to Love Cycle then Mari said, "hey uh i got this song I want to hear ight?" I was a lil suspicious but slowly nodded my head. She turned on Would You Mind by Janet Jackson and jus a few lyrics into the song my eyes got wide and my mouth dropped. I jumped up and turned it off, "AH HELL NAH IAN FINNA LISTEN TO SOME MUSUC LIKE DIS WTF" all she was doin was laughing. "Chill chill i saw it on tiktok" she said it pulling up to Chick-fil-A gettin in line. Man fuck tiktok..

She ordered our food and it actually went by pretty fast, as I was about to call my brother I remembered what happened between them. "So what's up with you and my brother?" I asked she sighed. "I kinda regret it but at the same time I dont because I have mixed feelings for him but I'm already with someone and it's stressing me out because what if I am pregnant." She said about to cry.

"Hey it's ok if you are i know my brother he wouldn't not care for it if anything he's hoping it brings y'all closer together." I told her. "I know but-" she sighed. "Have you at least taken a test yet." She shook her head, "I wanna wait a couple more days, I'm not ready yet" i could tell she was nervous and didn't wanna talk abt it so I left it at that and called Amir.

"Wsp" he answered, "where y'all at?" "TJ crib" "aw ok send me yo location We finna pull up." I told him. "U gotta make sure it's cool with TJ and we?" "TJ dont run shit ion care if it's his house or not and yes we, Na'Mari with me." "Ight" he said then hung up. A few minutes later I got his location and gave it to Mari and we started heading over there.

Not too long after we had pulled up to TJ house and dis dude lived in the hood frl. We got out the car with our and some might say it's rude to show up to ppl house with only food for you but I say who gives a fuck.

I knocked on his door with Mari behind. TJ answered the door and his mood and facial expression changed immediately "fuck is you doin here" he said. "Cuz i wanted to i said tryna go in but he moved in my way, "nah cuz whatchu think u doin" he said crossing his arms. I pushed him out the way and walked inside.

"HEY HOES and Jay" I yelled making my way to the available seat and Mari sat next to Amir. "WASSUP BEST FRIEND, you interrupted me tho." Montay said. I looked at him confused. "He was tellin us how he was linking with a locksmith." I bust out laughing and so did Na'Mari.

"Now like I was saying- damn bro what's yo problem" he said looking and TJ makin us all turn to him. "She in my spot and I'm still tryna figure out who told her she could come." He said. "I invited myself now Montay continue."

"So she was giving me head and for the past few times it's been just dry and bad so I was like ight I'm cutting you off and she over like nah u AINT leavin me and I'm like bitch we not even together da fuck so a few weeks later dis bitch broke into my after I had changed my locks TWICE" he said. We all bust out a laughing except for TJ.

"Damn bro crack a smile or sum" Mari said. He continued to give me death stares. "You got a problem or sun cuz u starin hella hard" he ain't say nun so I got up putting my plate on the table and squared up. "So wassup" he clenched his jaw like dat was supposed to intimidate me.

I shoved him and he shoved me back so I started throwing hits and he jus picked me up and threw me over his shoulder takin me to a room.
