Our love story was not one of normal tales, wasn't a fairytale or perfect picture, or perfect match it was odd and beautiful and wonderful. Not the type of story that would get passed on from generation to generation, not the type of story that everyone would here in a matter of decades, but it was fast and magical. It was as if no cultural boundary, no boundary of society, no boundary of our parents, could ever keep us apart. We were like two magnets who, no matter how far away you took us, always came back to each other. And oddly enough it basically began with a piece of plastic and a bus stop.

I didn't know what love was then, I only had a vague idea that I'd gotten from movies and books. It wasn't like anything I had read about- slow, or fast, like a roller coaster- it was brilliant, mild, and exactly what I dreamed it wouldn't be...it was hard and challenging and sometimes I just wanted to sit down and cry, but I always managed to get away from it with his help. There were positive times and of course there were the negative times and while the books and movies mention that, they never mentioned that sometimes negative times outweigh the positives, sometimes it looks like there's no hope... True love is like that, surprising and nothing that you never expect, it's...it's different.
