Magic In Me

I slammed the door down and ran upstairs to Alex's room, I saw Alex surrounded by mysterious people. All I knew was that they were wearing hoods. One of them saw me and cast a spell on me. Without saying anything, that one thing surprised me because I have never seen anyone using magic without having to say a phrase. Their magic was stunning, vines came from out of the floor which then surrounded and constricted around me. "Alex? Are you there?" I questioned. She didn't respond, I then realized she was put on a mute spell where no one could hear her. What kind of magic did these wizards hold? They started mumbling words growing into a chant. They said it louder and louder, and I started to get dizzy. I started to say a phrase so I could summon a shield around me to protect me, but ended up getting nauseous. I tried once more, I conducted a spell in Latin to form a orb-like shield to form around me. I started to feel better. Since I had wings of different forms, I found a form of my wings that were sharp enough to cut the vines. As I sliced through the vines quietly, I suddenly remembered that I had a special scroll that could read what type of magic was being dealt with. I pulled out the scroll and unrolled it. I started to mumble the words on the scroll and, poof, results popped up on the scroll. It was stated in the scroll that Alex was could not talk because of a mute spell, well obviously, and also said that soon she would reach Stage 4 of the spell which would make her start to melt and bleed. She was already in Stage 3 of the spell, it was too late for her. I couldn't do anything, so I sat there and watched. She finally entered Stage 4, and I could see blood coming out of her. Tears rolled down my face, as I closed my eyes. I could not stand seeing Alex die so soon.

I heard the floor starting to rumble, I looked up. Alex floated above the ground, she was glowing green. She released a green light that boomed the wizards away. She was still bleeding, but she was still healing. She then did hand movements looking like a Japanese symbol. The symbol then exploded, healing her and making the wizards disappear within seconds.
