Third Pov
Long ago when Japan had a time before demons there lived a clan called the Shirai-ryu that broke off from the Lin-Quie that had traveled there from China. The two had a rivalry between each other which would've gone to a bloody conflict. Now we come to the same village where lived Satoshi Hasashi son of Hanzo Hasashi who also trained him in learning in the ways of the shinobe which took a long time to do. This was the start to the fall of the Shirai-ryu clan.

Present Taisho Era
Satoshi was getting ready to head out to a secluded part of the forest far from his village where he would train to help with his abilities. Before he leaves he goes to say goodbye to his family.

Satoshi: "Bye mom bye dad."

Harumi: "Don't be out for too long sweetie."

Satoshi: "Come on I have to get strong to protect you all in the village."

Hanzo: "He's right and soon will be be like me to protect his own family."

Harumi: "I know but I'm worried."

Hanzo: "But do make it back before sunset son."

Satoshi: "Yes dad, see you soon."

He then heads out to begin the training he needs to be a great shinobe, but back at his home his father and mother begin to worry about something else.

Harumi: "I know you've seen the figures around the forest, but the Lin-Quie won't have a good reason to attack us."

Hanzo: "I know but Bi-han had acted strangely for some reason, almost makes it a reason they might attack."

Harumi: "I hope Satoshi will be alright."

Hanzo: "Don't worry about that, I know he will be alright even if we're gone."

While they talk, outside the village three figures look over to begin their plan.

???: "Why ask us to do this when you are capable of this yourself?"

???2: "I have no need to complain but your ice is able to deal with these sorry people Bi-han, so why waste our time?"

Bi-han: "Right now, I need some oni to take care of these dogs while my powers are still useful, and I need all of them killed and maybe the you can get some good meals."

???2: "Mmmm, well not my problem but to deal with these sad humans anyway is good enough."

???: "Alright, but this will be the only time we help you."

Bi-han: "Don't worry, it will be quick with no faults."

Satoshi Pov
While at my training ground I took a good three hours of training which is still difficult as I have yet to make it useful, but I'm getting there. As I look up in the sky I can see the sun almost setting to which I began to head back home. I've heard from many people in the village and out in the towns that man-eating oni have been on the hunt which makes me hurry. As I get closer home I began to feel a presence of multiple people which made me worry as I look ahead to see fire at the village.

Satoshi: 'No no no, please be alright no one should be hear and there should be an attack on us.'

As I got to the outskirts of the village I see that many homes were burning and the villagers were being killed. The Lin-Quie were attacking us which was shocking to see.

Satoshi: 'Why are the Lin-Quie here. We aren't against each other right?'

As I was sneaking pass the Lin-Quie assassins, I was making my way back home hoping my parents are okay. As I got to my house I see to my horror that blood was on the floor and in the entrance was my mother dead and being eaten.
