Chap. 3: Just Another Day At Beacon

AN: Hey everyone,

So sorry for the long wait! I've been trying to make the most of my winter break by catching up on shows and other stories and trying to relax as well as work on any new ideas that pop into my head either for future stories or the ones I'm currently doing.

Marvel's phase 4 gets better and better each day especially with the awesomeness that was No Way Home (no spoilers for those who didn't see it.) and so what better way to celebrate that movie than by making a new update, this time looking at the RWBY side of things before the meet up between them and the Avengers.

Chap. 3: Just Another Day At Beacon

"Best day ever!" Ruby cheered as she and her teammates returned to their dorm with their friends in JNPR heading into their room across the hall to wash up from their cuisine clash.

"Speak for yourself," her blonde friend and fellow leader Jaune Arc grumbled as he unlocked his team's dorm. Currently, all members of Team JNPR were wearing all the colors present on the rainbow due to the amount of food Ruby had bombarded them with during the end of their food fight.

"I agree. That was childish of us...although I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it," Jaune's partner and Mistralian champion Pyrrha Nikos sheepishly admitted with a bright smile on her face as she stood beside her leader.

"We should totally do that again sometime!" cheered the energetic ginger-haired girl known as Nora Valkyrie as she took out a piece of turkey breast from her partner and best friend's hair.

"Nora no," Ren said, looking at his partner with his magenta eyes, "It would be best we not do that again, otherwise Professor Goodwitch will give us detention for the rest of the semester. You saw how upset she was. She's properly thinking of ways to punish us as we speak," he said. This slightly dampened the bubbly girl's cheerful demeanor.

"Don't be like that Ren. Ozpin bailed us out and I'm down for a rematch. You've got a heck of a swing Nora," The blonde brawler known as Yang Xiao Long complimented, high-fiving the orange-haired hammer swinger of JNPR with a loud clap.

"If we're done now can we please head inside to wash up? I can't believe you got me involved in your shenanigans," The cold heiress of the SDC known as Weiss Schnee accused both Yang and Nora who giggled in return.

"Come on Ice Queen," Weiss's eyes narrowed at the nickname, "We all had fun in the end right? And besides, you won." Nora waved off tossing a piece of chicken out of her hair.

"Of course, we won," Weiss proudly exclaimed with a smile, "You made a grave error in hitting me with that pie."

"Well, you did say that whatever we did we should do it together." The black-haired mysterious cat Faunus known as Blake Belladonna remarked with a small smile, "Though I'm not interested in going through that again."

"Come on Blake, don't be such a stick in the mud. We all had fun," Yang beamed at her partner who didn't return the smile.

"I didn't," Jaune bluntly pointed out. "I got knocked into a window trying to stop it, hit in the face with a turkey, and then bombarded by food," he finished, giving both half-sisters a pointed glare.

"Heh heh heh...Sorry Jaune," Ruby sheepishly giggled, rubbing the back of her head.

"Sorry, we gave you such a crumby time, Vomit Boy. You just weren't bread-y for us," Yang punned, causing everyone to groan at the lame puns, with Jaune groaning the loudest due to the embarrassing nickname she christened him.
