I walk into my homeroom class. I see my homeroom bestie: Mad Dog aka Kentarō or as I like to call him Bulldog! I go to my seat, coincidentally we sit next to each other.

Bulldog began "Out of anyone I've ever met, you're the only person that chooses not to call me Mad Dog. And where did you get the nickname Bulldog?"

"Mmmmmmm, to answer your question why not and because you seem more like a Bulldog rather than just a Mad dog," I say confidently.

Bulldog just looked at me so confused. I guess my answer didn't suffice. The teacher Mr. Haru  just walked in and was telling my class to quiet down. He then wrote a problem on the bored. Ughhhhhhhhhh, I hate MATH. It makes my head hurt. Some say it's worse than HELL. And sadly they are not wrong. I was struggling to not to bang my head on my desk.

I turned to see, Bulldog was also fighting the urge. I didn't dare ask him for help cause let's be honest. If he was smart he wouldn't be here in this class with me. The bell brought me back from la-la land.

I got up quickly and thanked GOD the class was over. I grabbed my wallet from my bag to hit the vending machines. I was hungry. I just grabbed chips and water. I then walked back to class, because my next-period teacher was about to arrive. I take my seat

"Miss me," I said cheerfully as I took my seat.

Bulldog just stared at me and sighed. My Japanese Literature teacher walks into class. My teacher Ms. Kai, wrote on the board. It read Snow Country. Ah great another famous book which will put me to sleep. Great, I kinda needed a power nap today. Sadly this book would be my doom. I got attached. What can I say?

Ms.Kai wrote on the board "Themes: Loneliness and love that can never happen."

From then on I was captivated by the book. I connected to the book so hard. Just by the theme......
