chapter 9 Unexpected talks

I was freaking out and as soon as we were done talking sun walked over to the kids and gave them their melatonin snack and the lights dimmed. I walked in the ' Employees only area' and sat down closing my eyes. I heard the door open and see....

Dave? "dave?" "hello how has work been... treating you". As soon as he said that he looked at my chest area but I ignored it and saw he had sat down in the seat next to me. I stare at him as he poked my chest. I winced as he smirked and asked, " what happened" "oh um.. I feel down an escalator" " don't lie,what really happened " "moon attacked me when the lights went out" " Ahh...you didn't tell anyone?" "no?" "good this place can't afford a law suit ". I sighed and questioned my self ' why would he not want me to tell anyone'. Before I was able to ask he said " Anyway I have to get back to my job just wanted to check in good luck old sport" he left as soon as he said that and I couldn't ask. I sighed and leaned back in my seat and the door closed. 

I hear the door open and hear robotic steps headed toward me. I opened my eyes and looked up and it was sun but he had red eyes? I was going to question it but decided against it,and just greeted him "hey sun" "hey sorry about calling you in here so suddenly. " I just nodded and sat their as he began to talk again 

"have you seen anything...... off"

I shake my head 

"what did you and dave talk about ?"

"business" I replied kind of worried 

"ok...." 

"did you see anything wrong with the kids........ maybe injured?" as he said that his eyes turned purple"

"n-no"

"alright i'm going to take your word with it sweetheart, i'm going now that's all i wanted to discuss"

'w what did he call me, he doesn't usually call me that. Oh god i'm going to have to tell the parent that the kid was missing or say another parent kidnapped him and i'm going to have to make a report'

I thought

"ok" 

I say as he began to walk away I sigh as he walked out of the room I was about to get up when i feel my ribs starting to hurt 

"damn it"

I got up again and began to walk out into the daycare office area and sat down grabbing my lunch and eating it while the time flies
