You walked in. Your head down, why are you so damn nervous?

"Hello, I'm H/N. I'm here for the interview that I had at 3."

"Ah yes, he's been waiting for you. Odd. Anyways, floor 4 and it should be the first room to your right. Good luck!" The secretary said with a smile.

You went into the nearest elevator. Wondering why it was odd to be waiting for someone. Hawks doesn't wait, he's one of- if not the fastest heros! Your thoughts were interrupted by the noise of the elevator stopping. The door smoothly and slowly opened. You turn to your right to see the most outrageously beautiful office. At least he has good taste in interior spaces. You knocked on the door.

"Come in!" The cool toned voice said.

When you walked in the door, Hawks was strung acrossed his chair in a improper manner. He was fiddling with a pen. He had a mountain of papers and binders that looked unfinished.

Hawks slowly pulled himself up from the position he was in. "Hey kid. Why're you in that?" He gestured to all of you.

"My suit? I thought this was an interview."

"It is! -well kind of- Get on your hero suit. Let me show you'll be doing here."

You mouthed to yourself a small "what?"

After you were dressed in your hero costume, you head back to his office.

"Just to let you know," Hawks spoke as soon you hit the door "You have the job, if you're up for it."

You were holding in every single noise that wanting to burst out of you from absolute joy. "Oh I'm up for it alright."

"Great! Tag you're it!" Hawks booked it past you and burst out of a balcony on the other side of the floor.

SHIT! I ALREADY LOST HIM!

You followed jumping halo to halo and then just went to a balancing move which takes up most energy but makes you go as fast as you can (basically a sprint but flying). You were actually catching up and almost got him, when he dove from the sky and headed into the forest of buildings. I get it! He's testing my speed agility, and ability to react. Smart for an interview.

Swerving around corner to corner, keeping up with the crimson wings. Reaching your arm as far as your body would allow. You never wanted anything so bad. A life changing job that could have so many possibilities. Possibilities that could not only improve your hero and quirk skills, but offer a world of new and interesting people and experiences. You needed this job.

Then an idea hit your mind. You knew this piece of city. You could have a cut off soon and then meet him in the front. But Hawks probably knew this too. It was your best shot if he was continuing to make sharp turns in the city. Quickly, you made a direct turn onto a street that circles around.

Swerving and speeding, you could see red feathers heading right where you wanted. You wondered if he noticed you left a space behind him.

You turned the final corner. Hawks stopped immediately. He shot straight up into the open sky. Pulling at the wind, scraping at the resistance to just give you one more push so you could get this opportunity.

Then finally, he faltered. His boot let down in one split second and you hit it. You did it. He slowed down and hovered in the sky. You were so distracted by your victory, you didn't slow or stop you flew straight into Hawks.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to run to you I'm so sorry!" You quickly said not noticing that you were not on your halo and you weren't flying. He was holding you.

"I'm fine! Calm down!" He turned his head to you and look into your eyes. "Welcome to the Hawks Agency. We should head back to the office."

"Oh yes, pardon me." You climbed back onto you halo. And you both started back to the building's balcony.

Landing on the balcony, you felt how tired you were. It was a quick flight but you put everything into one halo, focusing on your speed and balance. Doing that is draining. Even if you do use your halo ALL THE TIME.

"You did better than I thought."

"Yeah I'm pretty good if a bullet isn't in my shoulder." You gave him a smirk.

"No, I mean it. I timed it. You're a record breaker. Your time was a minute and thirty four seconds, the last record was two minutes and fourty six seconds. You are amazing."

A slight red tint started heating your face. You weren't used to getting such praise. "Thank you. I told you I'm up for it."

"And you are. Now let's do the boring stuff."

"You mean... paperwork?"

Hawks let out a grown, "Yes THAT."
