I jump awake after hearing my dad call me for the fifth time I'm normally a morning person but I don't know what's going on this morning I quickly get up and go brush my teeth before throwing my dressing gown on and heading downstairs, I've planned to go see Lizzie this morning then my dad and I are going round uncle Dans later to go see them then tomorrow school starts and honestly I'm dreading it I haven't seen most of these people since I left 4 years ago, I didn't get to say goodbye to anyone including my best friend's but it will all be okay right? I snap out of my thoughts when I hear my dad talking to me "so how was your first night back here," he asks while smiling at me and filling my cup up with orange juice I smile and thank him
" It was great thanks, definitely going to take some time to get used to, I'm nervous for the whole of this week so maybe ask the question again on Friday," I say while laughing he looks at me and smiles
"Sure thing kid, so I got work this morning but I'll be back around 3 pm and we will head round Daniels"
"Yeah that sounds great dad, I'm going to go see the Moskowitz," I tell him while grabbing a bowl of cereal and eating it
"Want me to give you a ride?" he asks
"If that's okay, I don't mind getting the bus or walking"
"It's fine Mads just let me know when you're ready to go, I'm going to go get ready for work," he says while smiling at me and walking upstairs

After eating my cereal I head upstairs to go shower and get ready I'm nervous about seeing the Moskowitz siblings we were all so close until mum decided to kidnap me, I never got to say goodbye to them. Lizzie has quite a sharp tongue but a heart of gold while Eli is sweet and quiet and has the kindest soul but I don't even know what they think happened or how they will react and even though they're my best friends I can't help but feel nervous. Once I'm out of the shower and I'm ready I head downstairs and let my dad know I'm ready, we leave ours and jump in my dad's car, Lizzie lives 10 mins away from me so we get there pretty quick
"Hey dad thanks for dropping me, I'll make sure I'm home by 3," I say while getting out of the car
" No problem kiddo see you later be good" he smiles at me before driving away
"Bye" I smile after him and I turn around and take a look outside the Moskowitz family home I have so many memories here too some of my happiest really
