Chapter 23

Lauren's pov

I was greeting everyone. I wanted to go after Alex, but Chris told me that he would go up and check on her.

I was talking to Demi and Selena. I saw Chris coming down the stairs.

"Hey Lauren, can we meet Alex?", Demi ask. I nodded and let them upstairs. I open the door, but only to get stopped by Selena. She point at Alex. I heard the conversation between Alex and Taylor

"What's wrong? I haven't heard you talk. I miss your angel voice.", Taylor said.

"I just don't want to talk, okay?" Alex said to her.

"Is there something that bothering you? Because everyone here would like to help you out.", Taylor said.

"There always things that bothers me. But what the point of me talking about my problems. Oh wait I already have lots of problems. No ones understand all the pressure I have. No one can possibly understands why a six years old have these problems. I'm never going to be a regular six year old. They're right. I'm just a freak with too many problems!!"

"I'm glad your expressing your feelings.", Taylor said.

"And I'm glad I heard it." I said. Alex turned around.

"Taylor, can you please give us a moment." I asked Taylor. She nodded and left then close door behind her.

"Baby" I said as I approach to her bed. "You are not worthless. You are a strong girl. You been through a lot. I do understand what your going through. You are not a freak.", I said to her. I looked up at Demi and Selena.

"Hey sweetie. I'm Selena. I heard a lot about you. You are very pretty. Don't listen to anyone who tells you that your a freak. You are not a freak." Alex smiled a little. She quietly said thanks.

Than Demi came up

"Hey. You are a very great kid." Demi picked up Alex and put her on her laps.

"You're a very brave for handling these issues. And I know you are very smart. You are not freak. But if people say that you're a freak, just say your freaky awesome because you are. Its okay to have problems. Because without problems, you're just going to be a boring person. A person who has problems, experience so many things. Its sucks but at the same time its wonderful. Your not the only person who have problems. There are a billion people in the world who suffers all the time. I used to suffer. And I'm still am. But I stay strong. And you need to stay strong too. You have so many people supporting you. Especially Lauren. Don't shut out everyone. Its not healthy to keep your emotions to yourself. So promise me you will at least try to talk to anyone you trust about how you feel?" Demi said. Alex shook her head no. "Why not?"

"Because I'm tired of making promises and tired of people not keeping their promises." Alex said quietly

"Well how about this? Who do you trust in the Harmony family?", Demi asked.

"Dinah, and used to be Lauren.", Alex said quietly.

That hurt. She doesn't trust me no more.

"Well if you ever feel like you need to talk to someone, even if you're feeling happy or sad, come and tell Dinah. And hopefully you can trust Lauren again.", Demi said. Alex gave her a small smile. "Well, come on. There so much done downstairs. Let's get your party on. You're the Queen today."

"Let me talk with Alex for a second. We will be right down."

Demi and Selena left us. They said they were going to be outside if the bedroom door.

"Alex?"

She looked up.

"I know I've said this a million time. I'm sorry. You are my baby girl, and I punish you because I want what best for you." I really needed for her to hear me out. No matter how much I say I'm sorry, I will not give up till I forgive her.

I took out my hand for her. To my surprise she accept it. I was about to walk out the door with her, till she pull me back. She gesture for me to sit down. I was confuse but I did. I watch her go to her backpack. She pull out this big black card

Lauren, you are forgiven. Thanks for being my monmy. I love you so much. Words can't explain how I'm thankful to have you. I'm happy you found me, and save me. Even though you could've gotten a better daughter or son, you chose me. I love you to the moon and back!❤❤. But I can't promise you that I can be able to trust you again

As I read it, tears were falling out of my eyes. There was pictures of us around the card. Pictures j didn't even knew existed. I really loved this.

"Baby.......listen I will always love you. Even if you do a mistake I will always love. Doesn't mean you won't be getting ounush, but I will always love you. I know you been through a lot - excuse my language- shit, and you're a strong beautiful girl. I love you to infinity and beyond."
