That Mortal Woman Is His

Mo Yuan still looked calm despite the situation. Arl knew she was a god but they were on the mortal realm and as far as she remember from those dramas they weren't allowed to use magic, well, she wasn't even sure if those dramas were reliable.

The palace guards surrounded the both of them in an instant. The two of them were in the middle and Mo Yuan didn't move and didn't do anything hastily. He was not in the immortal realm so he knows his boundaries.

One of the guards spoke " The woman is summoned to the palace by the king. You must obey the orders". Arl was stunned as he didn't even know the king in that realm and she just arrived yesterday how would she attract the king's attention? She was puzzled.

On the other hand, Mo Yuan knew what was meant by the guard. He has been to this realm a while ago while investigating the demon clan. He knew the king were obsessed with beauties and his harem was the biggest among all the other kings that took the throne. In fact, Mo Yuan saw the king sat on one of the seats a while ago while they were eating. The woman was so focused on eating that she didn't even realize that she was being stared at.

Mo Yuan didn't expect for the king to take some actions as the king never held his attention to a normal mortal, he was more into beauties with ranks and power. He was craving for both and he knew that those officials can't stop him as it helps form alliances and they know what will happen once they denied the request of the king.

"What's this for?" Mo Yuan's thoughts was interrupted as Arl spoke behind his back. He looked back and he saw her looking up at him nervously. At last, she was showing a normal reaction from someone who saw the realm for the first time. Arl was really nervous and afraid , she doesn't have any reasons to be but it has been her initial reaction through the years when she encounters something unexpected.

"It's okay. You trust me right?" Mo Yuan whispered back and looked at her. Arl nodded as she didn't even have a choice to begin with. Mo Yuan began speaking to the guards, "Take me with you , I am her companion" . Mo Yuan was holding Arl's hand and he squeezed her hand signaling her. Arl was smart and she knew what he meant. She opened her mouth and said ". He's right. If you want to take me you should also take him. If you don't want to them we'll leave" she said it with the most serious tone she could muster and looked straight to the palace guard. The palace guard looked sideways and he saw the king giving him the go signal thus, he accepted the request of the man.

Both of them were walking in between the guards and they obviously didn't have any chance to escape aside from using magic. Arl didn't bother to ask Mo Yuan as her thoughts was probably right, he can't probably use magic as he pleased on the mortal realm.

In the Taichen Palace, Donghua Dining and Third Prince Lian Song was looking at the pond which shows the whereabouts of Mo Yuan. Lian Song was shocked that the celibate god of war was holding a woman in his arms and he was being taken down to the palace. Donghua Dijun seemed uninterested but deep down me knew a good show would start soon. He smiled faintly and stared at the pond. Lian Song was still recovering at the scene he just saw. " What was that? Did I just saw that right? I was worried for that man for nothing. It looks like he wasn't even poisoned to begin with" , Lian Song was happy as finally gave something to tease about Mo Yuan. There was never any close woman in Mo Yuan' s life that a simple holding hands from him was a big deal. Lian Song looked at Dijun and realized that he was staring at the lake intently thus he shut his mouth and also focused on the two figures

Back at the mortal realm, Mo Yuan and Arl was walking and they were nearing towards the palace. Once they reached palace, the palace guards were trying to Seperate both of them but Arl held Mo Yuan's hand tightly. Mo Yuan could feel her soft breast pressed tightly onto his arms but he seemed indifferent in the outside. He looked down and he saw the pleading eyes of the woman.

" Mo Yuan don't leave me. I'm scared. I think they're gonna kill me" , Arl said anxiously and looked straight at Mo Yuan's eyes. She couldn't see any emotions in them that she thought Mo Yuan will let her go. Thus, he held his arms tighter that before. There were no space between his arms and his breasts. Even ants couldn't even cross between them.

Mo Yuan sighed in his mind and assured her " Don't worry I won't leave you here. You're my savior after all" after consoling Arl her gripped slightly loosened but he still didn't let go of his arms. Seeing this sight, the palace guards didn't know what to do and they just agreed to Arl's request. The king ordered them to just follow what the woman says and pamper her so the guard didn't have a choice and led the both of them to an empty room.

One of the guards opened his mouth and said "Wait here. The king will arrive soon" after that he closed the door and left both of them inside. Only then did Arl breathe a sigh of relief. Those guards were really big and scary. Mo Yuan was also big but she wasn't scared at him.

"Mo Yuan what do we do? I'm really scared right now I wanna go home", Arl was in the verge of tears as all these events were too much for her to handle just a couple of days ago she was in the airport going home and now she was taken to the palace. It was really too much to handle.

Mo Yuan knew what was going to happen if they stay a little longer. Thank goodness that the guards let them stay at the same room. He needed a place that no one could see them so they could teleport towards Kunlun mountain.

His decision was already final. He cannot leave this mortal woman on any mortal realm as she will probably end up as a concubine of the king. She was too beautiful to begin with that she'll eventually get noticed even those who are loyal to their wives will turn around just to take a peek at her.

He decided to keep her by her side until he finds a solution for her situation. After all her appearance by itself is a disturbance to the realm and it will need to be solve. If they want to solve this mystery they need her.

Mo Yuan told Arl that they will teleport back to his home and Arl nodded absentmindedly , for her any place was fine expect the palace. After watching too many dramas in her era she knew how scheming the palace could be. She also had a glint of idea that the king took a fancy to her even though she knew that he didn't even know her face, it was just her assumption that's why he didn't bother to tell Mo Yuan.

Mo Yuan held her on his right hand and her luggage on the left. They teleported fast and was a second faster as the door was opened by the king the moment they left.
