Chapter 7 ~ Yeah

Sasha's POV:

"Roman, I'm sorry. I don't think this is going to work out," I stated to him.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"I think it would be best if we break up," I admitted.
"Oh," he replied. "Is this because of Bayley?" He inquired.
"No, it's because of me. My schedule is becoming overwhelming. I really do wish we could do this, but school and my mental health come first," I explained. That part was true, but there was also more to why I was breaking up with him.
"Oh, okay. Do you think we can still be friends?" He responded.
"Yeah, we can," I replied.

We hugged before I left the school. I caught up with Bayley who was already walking to my house. I ran down the street and surprised her with my presence.

"Hey Sash," she said as I slowed down.
"Hey Bayley," I returned, I was out of breath from running.
"Did everything go okay?" She asked.
"Yep, he took it easily," I explained.
"That's good," she replied.
"My mom messaged me and said she wasn't going to be home today," I informed her.

We continued to walk to my house in complete silence. I was worried for what Bayley could've been thinking or was about to say. Once we got to my house, I locked the front door and we went upstairs to my room. She sat her bag down on the floor and turned back around. When she turned around, I crashed our lips together. She returned the kiss for a minute before pulling away.

"Sash, I don't want to be an experiment for you," she whispered.
I looked into her eyes with fear. "Bayley, I'd never do that to you," I stated quietly.
"Are you sure though?" She asked me.
"I'm sure," I said, wrapping my arms around her neck.
"Good," she mumbled. "Because I really like you," she admitted while placing her hands on my hips.
"Yeah? Well that's good because I like you too," I told her.

She smiled at me before kissing me. I really do like her. I'd be her girlfriend but I'm worried that she'll get scared if I ask her. I didn't ever think that my feelings for Bayley were real, until she kissed me. It was a few weeks since then. I wanted to see if I really liked Bayley or if I was caught in the moment. And I honestly don't feel like Roman and I were a good couple. We were together for 6 months, but it didn't really feel real. But with Bayley, it did. She actually liked me for me, not because of my looks or intelligence. Now, I'm not saying that Roman didn't actually like me, but it seemed like he mainly liked me because I'm pretty.
