Bright, cheerful and joyful are what come to mind when thinking of a yellow rose. Yellow roses create warm feelings and provide happiness. Giving yellow roses are a way of telling someone how much you value the friendship you share.

Paddy wasn't thinking about anything specific when he walked through the door of the flat he shared with two of his best friends, (Y/N) and Louis, but he knew trouble was right around the corner because he could hear his mother talking to (Y/N) and that usually meant that he was about to get roasted.

When Nikki rang the doorbell, (Y/N) was studying for her final exams and was extremely thankful for the distraction. Opening the door, she didn't even think about how sloppy she looked. At this point her messy bun was part of her personality and it was safe to say (Y/N) didn't care one bit about it.

"Hello, Darling!" Nikki greeted her with the brightest smile followed by the warmest hug. She was like her second mother.

"Hi Nikki! Come in." (Y/N) stepped out of the way to let the red haired women into their flat.

"I knew it was a good idea to have you move in. This place has never looked that ... tidy." She laughed, sitting on the couch.

"Funnily enough, I'm not the one cleaning, this is all Louis and Paddy's work, well more Louis' to be completely honest. I'm way too busy with Exams at the moment." (Y/N) laughed before sitting down next to Nikki.

"You turn these boys into real men. I love it!" She grinned before looking around, probably searching for Paddy.

"Paddy is walking Tessa, but he should be home in a few." (Y/N) answered her unasked question.

"Great, that gives me time to get you in on something I have planned." Seeing the look on her face, (Y/N) palms turned sweaty. She knew Nikki and she knew that face - that face meant she was up to something Paddy was not going to like.

"Nikki... Paddy is not going to like whatever you have planned." (Y/N) laughed, fully knowing Nikki was about to drop some crazy idea into the room.

"You haven't even heard my idea!"

"I know but we also know Paddy is not going to like it."

"He's not going to like it coming from me, but he might like it coming from you." The woman smirked at the (Y/H/C) haired girl in front of her.

"No! Nu-uh. No. I'm not getting on Paddy's bad side." (Y/N) laughed.

"Please, as if you could get on his bad side. The boy adores you more than anything in his life. I just wish you two-"

"-Nikki." (Y/N) warned her. This was a familiar conversation, it was either her own mother or Paddy's mother or Paddy's whole family or her whole family telling them that the two should start dating - or skip the whole dating phase and just have kids and get married.

"Okay, okay! Best friends. I get it. I get it!" The woman smiled telling (Y/N) with her eyes that she still did not get it. "Now let me tell you about this idea."

"Do I really have to know about this?" (Y/N) groaned before throwing herself against the back of the couch - may as well be comfortable whilst listening to one of Nikki's ideas.

"Yes. Because you're going to be a part of it." Nikki smiled but immediately held up her hand to stop (Y/N) from interrupting her. "Let me finish my pitch! So, you know I'm a big fan of The Bachelor, right?" (Y/N) nodded, already having a vague idea about where this is going.

"Oh no."

"Oh yes! See, we both know Paddy has... his ways with women - which annoys me everyday a bit more but we're not going to talk about that. So yes. The Bachelor! I have this idea of starting something like that for Tom. I'm currently in the middle of organizing everything and going over possible contestants, but I am ready to tell Paddy about it." Nikki was way too excited for something so stupid, (Y/N) thought.
