Caitlyn ordered us again to patrol the city and so we did. Vi, on the other hand, was growing bored immediately and calling this job a bummer.
"Hey, Y/n," she called for the nth time. She was getting annoying so I went and walked a little ahead of her. "Y/n~" she called, over and over again. "Cupcake!"
I turned to look at her with my eyebrows furrowed, "Vi, can you stop? We're in the middle of a duty so we need to focus. Also stop calling me that." I moved forward and checked on any suspicious citizen.
"But this is boring, cupcake. I know Powder, she won't be attacking soon... I just know she won't," I noticed the tone of her voice getting sadder and so I turned again to see her trying to divert her gaze from me.
"Come on, don't give me that, Vi," I sighed.
"Okay, fine, can we at least have break? I'm getting hungry and I haven't eaten breakfast." She begged. She's so embarrassing... Doing this kind of act publicly. I looked around to see if anyone's watching and saw an enforcer standing by so I called for him to cover for us. He then obeyed knowing that we are on a higher rank than him, and so I thanked him.
"Come on," I commanded Vi in annoyance. She then cheered like a kid and ran ahead of me, "Hey! Wait!" I ran after her, scared that I might lose her.
She ran to a different direction and into an alleyway. The path was blocked but she was nowhere to be seen. I crossed my arms and say, "Alright, time to get back to work. I have no time to play these games, Vi—" I was then taken by surprise when I was pushed onto the wall.

"Hey, pretty lady, found any trouble around here?" She asked in an almost whisper tone. She wore my officer hat pretending to be me. I then pulled it down to cover her face, "Hey! I'm just doing my job here!" I heard her muffled voice.
As soon as she pulls up the hat, I snatched a kiss from her, "Guilty as a criminal," I raised my hands to play a part. She then cracks a smile and pulled me in a tight hug.
"Oh you're so cute!" She said as she spun me around, "Finally, caught a bad guy! Cupcake would be so proud of me!"
