Charline sat alone in the dining hall. Emersion hadn't showed up the last few days and she was worried about him. She had good news to tell him.
She stood up from her seat and left towards her and Emersion's chambers.
Emersion looked at the knife in his hand and he swallowed as he held it against his hand. He slowly cut with the knife in his hand and held in the pain. He dropped the knife fall to the floor and his dark red blood flow free out of the wound. Charline entered the chambers to see the knife on the floor and Emersion's bleeding hand. "Oh! Emersion, what have you done!?," She exclaimed in worry as she hurried over to him. Emersion yelped out in pain as she touched him. Charline hurried to grab his Eldstar and ignite over it his healing rune on the left side of his neck. "Emersion," She said gently. Emersion broke out into tears and Charline took her husband into her arms, hugging him tightly. "Shh, it's alright," she whispered soothingly. "Forgive me," Emersion said sobbingly. "Shh, I'm here," Charline whispered softly, "Look at me," Emersion looked up at her and she wiped his eyes away. "If we would have a son, we shall name him Aldon after your brother, and he will live on through him," And Emersion looked at her and smiled, "Thank you... But," Charline smiled, "I am pregnant," Emersion looked at her, his tears becoming tears of joy instead and he hugged her tightly. "I love you," he whispered softly. "I love you too," Charline whispered, "And I shall never leave you again,"
