My name is Dawn. I'm 14 and I have bleach blonde hair and dark brown eyes. When I was around 4 years old I was put in an orphanage. My parents were and still are alive...I think. My mother is a cereal killer and my father is an alcoholic who, after abusing me and little sister Dakota left us. We weren't found, until a month later by a lady that brought us to the orphanage. For a month we were down there with no food and only a leaking pipe for a drink. By the time she found us I had turned five and Dakota was 3. After a few years at the orphanage we learned to fend for ourselves. We had to ignore all other girls there they would look at us like we had worse backgrounds then them. We were all the same. We all had no parents, no family. One day when I was 9 we were told they found one of our uncles we could stay with. "Don't trust him," I told Dakota. When we had live there for almost a year we learned all of his habits, all of his activities (there wasn't much to know), he never payed attention to the us.All day, everyday, on the couch staring at the tv or passed out on the couch with a beer in his hand is where he would be. Just like his brother. Everyday we would sneak past him and go out the beat up old trailer. We would walk to Mrs.Johnson's house and the Mr.Denver's house all day we would clean or do chores like run out to the store for them or get the mail. Do all the things they were unable to do and in return they would feed us and sometimes if it was a very good day we would get some hand me down clothes from their children that had children and knew what we did for their dad or mother. As the years passed by my uncle started to get sick. He had never really done anything great for us what so ever besides let us sleep in the bathtub for 4 years. But he died, go figures he had lung cancer from falling asleep with a cigarette so many times in his mouth. This wouldn't be a huge thing if I was 18 but I'm not so I must leave immediately. I called 911 and left with my sister if we were to be found we would be put back in the orphanage where no one wants you or no one looks at you, its not like U get much here but there much more freedom. And this brings us to present day....
