A shift with scott

Authors POV:

Y/n gets in his car after finally finishing getting ready to go to the horror attraction. It takes him a little while to get there but when he does he noticed a car sitting with it's engine off right beside where he usually parks. When he pulls up and cuts off his car he looks beside him to the right he sees Scott drumming his fingers against his car wheel. Scott notices the sound of y/ns car and turns his head, waving when they lock eyes happily.  Y/n waves back and gets out of his car to Scott following suit. They meet each other and Scott greets him with another hand shake.
"Hello y/n"
Scott greets while breaking their hand shake.
"Hey Scott! What are you doing here? Your shift isn't until..." Y/n pauses to check his watch it read 11:05 am " like 6 hours."
He finishes his sentence.
"Yea well we finally found a real animatronic at the diner, we brought it in. And my boss made me stay here to watch over so you don't you know steals anything.."
Scott answers back in his average cheery voice. Y/n raises a brow. Why would his boss think he would steal something that valuable?
" Why do you think I would steal something like that?"
Y/n asks curiously. Scott takes a small breath.
"Well our last security guard kinda stole something from here, the foxy head we found. We had to do what seemed like a man hunt to find that shit head and get it back. Of course we sued him but I guess my boss still has trust issues from it."
Scott answers defeatedly to y/ns question. Y/n looks back at him and shrugs.
"Fair enough I guess"
And he then walks over to the double doors and unlocks them. He walks in with scott following behind him. Y/n walks down the poorly lit hallway with scott following into the security room. He sits down and Scott scoots himself onto the desk, smirking. After about an hour of barley doing anything Scott pipes up.
"Do you wanna see it?"
Y/n looks at him and his smirking feature and blushes. (See what Scott 😏)
"The animatronic?"
Scott nods and hops up off of the desk and starts to walk down the hall with y/n following closely behind him. After making a few turns they arrive where the new antique is placed. Scotts eyes widen when he sees it was not there, and y/n raises his eye brow to question it but was cut off by Scott.
" I really hope that it's too old to still be able to walk around"
Y/ns curiosity increases when hearing his sentence.
"What do you mean walk around? I can do that?"
"It used to be able to back then so I'm sure it could now, I thought it would be too old, impressive. Oh well"
Scott turns on his heel and him and y/n head back to the security room. Y/n looks at his monitor to check the cameras and gasps, the animatronic is standing right there in the hall next to the exit. God damn was that thing scary.
" Sorry you'll have to excuse me this is scary as fuck I'm going to the bathroom."
"Hey can I go too? I don't wanna be left a lone when that thing can openly Rome around the building..."
Scott asks y/n unsurely and he nods, both of them heading off to the bathroom. When they enter y/n goes to the sink and takes off his security guard hat. He bends down to turn on the water cups it in his hands, running it up to his face and splashing it. His face was hot from the poor air conditioning in the building and the fact that they're is a scary walking animatronic going about it's night in the same building. Y/ns eyes trail back up the mirror in front of him to see Scott eyeing something. When he follows his eyes he sees him looking at...oh. They lock eyes and Scott looks away with a slight blush, causing y/n to blush also.
"You know it's rude to stare right?"
Y/n asks boldly at Scott. Causing him to turn back with an even more blush covering his face. But he smirks matching the look that y/n has on his own face.
" oh? Is that so? Well my apologies"
He answer back slyly with an even wider smirk. He then steps towards y/n until their chests are almost touching.
