The way it works -chapter 3

Nara's POV

I woke up in Jade's bed for the second time. This is the second time I've woken up and been in Jade's bed. I like this though. I like being in his presence. My head is pounding ugh i hate hangovers. I should probably get up and head home. Yeah first let me find my phone. My mom is probably worried where I'm at. I get off Jade's chest and get off the bed as quietly as possible so I don't wake him. Now, where the hell is my phone no doubt it's in my jeans.
"Nara?" He mutters while I'm still rummaging through my jeans for my phone.
"Jade?" I say in response to him saying my name.
"What are you doing?" He asks.
"Uhm I'm looking for my phone. Yes, I found it."  I say cheerfully. I open my phone to a ton of unread messages. First ones I look at are the ones from my mom.

Mom: where are you?? Are you staying at a friend's house or something?
Mom: Let me know as soon as possible!!
Me: hey, sorry about last night I ended up going over to a friends house and studying, we ended up falling asleep. I'll be home in a few!!
Mom: ok thanks for letting me know

That's something I really appreciate about my mom is that she isn't very strict with me, she's very understanding. My mom and I have lived on our own ever since my dad walked out on us.
"Oh ok." Jade replies. I open the texts from Kiara, my best friend.

Kiara: Where tf are you?
Kiara: where'd you go?!?!
Kiara: Nara come dance with me!!!
Kiara: our songs on loser

Her texts make me laugh.
"Why are you laughing?" Jade asks.
"My friend texted me last night like 4 times wondering where i went." I responded.
"Can I ask you something?" He asks me a question proposing a question.
"Yeah, what's up?" I ask him
"Do you remember what we told each other?" He sees the confusion on my face and clarifies "When we were laying down." I know exactly what he's talking about.
"Yeah." I answer him.
"I meant what I said," He tells me. That makes my cheeks flutter a bright color of pink.
"Me too but what are we?" I ask him.
"I don't know. All I know is that I really want to be your boyfriend. If you'd let me." He exclaims. Of course I'd let him date me.
I ask, "Is this you asking to be my boyfriend, Jade Korbin?"
"Yes." He mutters. I smile.
"Jade, of course you can be my boyfriend!" I run over and throw my arms around him. He pulls me onto his lap,makes eye contact with me, and tucks a piece of my hair behind my ear. I've noticed he does that a lot.
"I can't believe this beautiful girl is all mine!" He says excitedly as he pulls my face toward him and kisses me.

Jade's POV

I told Nara the truth that I really can't believe she's all mine. I smile just thinking about her. It's a sunny Sunday and I want to do something with Nara. Next thing I know I'm going through my contact lists and clicking on her name.

Me: Gorgeous, are you free?
Nara: Yeah I am free.
Me: Can I pick you up?
Nara: Sure, let me just get ready.
Me: bring a bathing suit.
Nara: ok.

I threw on a pair of swim trunks and a t-shirt. I'm grabbing my black sunglasses and my keys. Now I'm headed to nara's house. As soon as I pull up to her house I notice what she's wearing. She's wearing a cute red bathing suit and a pair of booty shorts damn she looks so hot. Did I mention red is so her color?
"Hey, babe." She says as she climbs in the car.
"Hey, cutie." I say as I kiss her. Her mouth is so divine. I love the way it feels on my mouth.
"Where are we going? Actually, Are we going to the beach?" She asks.
I tell her, "It's a surprise!"  She starts laughing. Her laugh is so cute.

We're here at the beach. It's one of my favorite beaches. I used to come here a lot when I was little. As soon as Nara's feet touch the sand she goes running into the water. She looks so cute.
She yells, "Jade!! Come get in the water!!" I take my shirt off and go in the water where me and her meet. I kiss her because she looks so perfect. I didn't think I would ever fall in love with someone but Nara Hemway made me fall in with her.

Nara's POV

I had a blast on the weekend with Jade, my boyfriend. Wow, it feels good to call him my boyfriend. Now I'm in class thinking of my hot boyfriend.
"What's got you smiling like that in this boring ass math class." The person next to me asks, her name is Megan. She is pretty cool and very pretty but super noisy.
"Nothing." I mutter.
She says, "Mhmm oh sure."
"Ok fine," I sigh and continue "my boyfriend." She laughs super loud.
"Wow Hemway, never thought you would have a boyfriend who is he?" She asks. I am a bit offended that she didn't think I would ever have a boyfriend but whatever.
I reply, "Jade, Jade Korbin." Her eyes widened.
"Damn really?" She asks surprised. I nod. Omg is she really that surprised that Jade's my boyfriend.
"Blondie over there has been after him for years." She moves her head toward Piper Madison, the bitchiest girl I've ever met. Ugh that makes me so pissed.

Jade's POV

I'm in the locker room and just finished showering when I over hear...
"Dude Nara hemway is hot as fuck!" My so-called friend Ethan says.
"Isn't that Jade's girl?" Jackson says to ethan.
"Fuck Jade!! I'd smash her so hard she wouldn't even be saying his name anymore." He says. I'll stop him right there.
I yell out, "The fuck you just say?!"
"I'm just being honest, I'd love to bone her." He chuckles. Fuck him. My hand connects with his nose so fast that he doesn't have time to say another word. Next thing I know the guys are pulling me off of Ethan.

I got fucking suspended its so bull Ethan was being a huge jerk. I'm sitting on my bed when I get a text from Nara.

Nara: where the hell did you go? I thought we were going to hang out after school.
Me: long story...
Nara: What happened Jade?
Me: Long story short I got suspended for punching some douche in the locker room.
Nara: Why'd you punch the dude?
Me: Because he was saying how you were hot and he'd smash you so hard you wouldn't be saying my name and after he still had the audacity to say when i asked the fuck you just say? He said he was just being honest and that he'd love to bone you. It pissed me off, so I punched him square in the nose.
Nara: Ok wow umm he made a douchey move.
Me: Yeah
Nara: Can I come over?
Me: Yeah for sure.
I'm just happy that Nara's coming over, my beautiful girlfriend. Now I'm smiling.
