The school was bigger than my old school, like really big. There are so many staircases, no wonder this school is known for there Athletics , swear I can get a eight pack just by the end of the week walking up these stairs.
"Girl Im so glad your here, I've been surrounded by boys for to long." Bri let out a relieved sigh, walking past the staring students in the hallway. A lot. Of staring.
"Yea I know but we gonna make this the best senior year ever now that Im here." I gave her a small smile and wrapped a arm around her waist as we walked through the hallway.
"So now that your in a new school, I won't lie to you the boys here are cute specially them basketball players." Bri put her arm over my shoulder while looking at me with a grin.
Is she forreal? I rolled my eyes at her and took her arm off me, freaky bitch.
"No Im not really looking for a relationship and you know that" My tone must've told her to stop talking about it since she let out a sigh like she disappointed or shit.
We continued walking for a few seconds in silence until someone called Bri's name.
"Ay Bri" I deep voice shouted from behind us. I looked behind us to see a boy with curly hair and a familiar smile walking up to us.
That looks like that boy..? Oh shit.
"Oh- Uh , Danielle? Is that you?" Bronny asked now standing closer to view. His eyebrows furrowed like he confused.
I looked down at my shoes and let out a small laugh, wow the bronny James .
"Yep , and bronny? Lebron Jr. Is that you?" I imitated. A small smile formed at the corner of his lips and it grew wider as we both burst out laughing.
"Wow this craaaaazzyy" He said put is hand on his head as his smile grew even wider.
Me and Bronny had a small history back when we were just in middle school, and we met at one of his dad's basketball games with my uncle Drake and we were bestfriends there for a moment until we had to part ways but it's crazy how I still remember lil dude.
"Is it destiny? Bri you never told me you had a sister?" Bronny said after finally putting his attention on the short girl between us.
"Nah she's my cousin and her name is Danielle but you already know that?" Bri answered pointing two fingers at us. I smiled and opened my arms for him to take in and hug me.
"We were friends in middle school I guess, we know each other and shit" I said after Bronny let's go and dabs up Bri who now had a grin on her face. Oh hell no.
We talked for a few more seconds before the bell ringed and , the three of us parted ways since Bri was a senior and Bronny had science instead of English for first period.
I told them that we'd talk to each other at lunch and headed off to class with a little hope in my heart that this year wouldn't be to bad.
- Junior floor English Class - Ms. Galore 8:10 AM
- When I entered the room , all eyes were on me. There was this one girl in the corner of the classroom I caught giving me a nasty face like I smell or sumthin. Wtf.
I sighed and just took a seat in the back. I don't got time for a valutamore looking ape.
The class begins in a minute so I took this time to quickly look over my schedule but a voice interrupted me from doing so.
I looked up to see a tall boy who I presume is asian, with his long hair wrapped in a bun and I must say he's a little cute. I gave him a small smile while looking up at him, his face turned pink once I did that.
"Im sorry if I interrupted what you were doing but I just wanted to ask you what your name was?" He said like he was nervous or sumethin. I don't bite.
"Its okay dude I know Im cute but don't let that get to your head." I told him and smirked at myself not knowing were all this confidence is coming from.
His face turned even more read as he grinned and nodded slowly while taking a seat by me.
"Sorry, um, my name is Danielle, Danielle King." I said to him and reached my hand out for him to shake which he took and did.
"Well Danielle, my name is Josh and your name sounds pretty." He said with a small hint of blush on his face as he smiled at me.
Wow, way to match my energy.
"Thanks, I appreciated it, um Josh." I almost forgot his name mid sentence but luckily didn't.
He nodded his head and before he could say anything else the female teacher that sat at her desk soon began speaking, hushing the class.
