English class is finally over, and Josh was a real good dude to talk to during class when your not suppose too.
I got to know him more and I asked him about Brielle since she said she hangs out with a lot of boys, which probably from school. He surprisingly did but he wasn't too close to her like that.
We were both now heading outside for lunch , where Brielle and Bronny said they'd be. As we get there I search the sunny area, there were few students not to less to be less, you know? Yeah.
"They asses better be here." I huffed while Josh walked by my side, if you saw us at that moment you would've thought we were a couple. But no, we literally just met.
"Ay shorty in the shorts." A male voice said from a table with 5 boys and Brielle, and this other girl.
I looked at the dude that shouted at me, I recognized him since I still watched the NBA with my family, we are not Lakers fans I can tell you that because, well my dad.
Amari Bailey, one or the top highschool basketball players in the nation and is soon to be drafted early to one of the best NBA teams.
I squinted a little because of the bright sunlight, good thing I wore sunscreen.
"Come on" I said to Josh, who just nodded and followed me like a lost puppy.
I walked over to the group who all greeted me with smiles, and some of the boys looking at me like I was a 4 course meal after fasting.
"I know Im short but I sure ain't a shorty Mr.Bailey" I mumbled but loud enough for everyone to hear and the boys to let loud 'ooo's out as if something crazy happened. Everyone, even Josh let out a small chuckle while shaking his head and he took a seat.
"Anyways, sup bae." I said to Bri and came up to her all seductively which I knew had all the boys quiet and watching in shock.
"Hey" Brielle says also making her voice sound seductive. She puts a hand on my shoulder and she grins at me and we just stay there until Brielle goes to far by leaning in.
Hold the fuck on. I almost broke my neck by the fast swerve I did on her, backing up laughing as the everyone started going crazy.
"AYO WHAT" The boys started screaming and jumping around while cameras were out AND the damn flash too.
I ran a few miles I swear that's how hard we were all laughing. Brielle screamed like she caught the Holy spirit as she land a smack on my back. Okay now- we bout to fight. I continued laughing while pushing her with all my strength and girl almost fell.
"HIT ME AGAIN AND ITS YOUR ASS" I yelled as the laughter soon cooled down.
"Damn shorty, you Brielle's girl? Ay Bri I never knew you swerved that way" I heard one of the boys ask, it was a cute brown skin.
"Nooooo she's my cousin and we ain't from Alabama no offense yall" Brielle answered with a straight face,just incase one of these mf really from Alabama.
They looked at us for a minute until they all bursted out laughing again. Boys are just weird.
"Okay enough of laughing yall this is my cousin, Danielle King and this is her first day here so please welcome her with kindness" Brielle wrapped her arm around my shoulder as I said hey to everyone.
"Well Danielle this is the group, Im Zaire Wade, I guess you already know Amari Bailey, Shy, Zaire William, Brandon and over there is Brandon's beautiful girlfriend Kayla", Zaire said to me with a grin before being pushed to the ground by Brandon who just rolled his eyes. Damn.
"Okay Goddamn, Im just being a gentlemen" Zaire groaned from the ground before being held up by Amari who just chuckled at the boy.
"Well nice to meet you boys, you too Zaire." I told him.
A small smile grew on both of our lips and he brushed his shoulder while the boys hype him up.
"Y'all wanna go hoop for a minute" Brielle asked grabbing her bag and the boys agreed. I looked over to Josh who I forgot was here and waved him over.
"Hey can you please go with us, your really the only friend I got" I plead to him and he gave me a small 'sure' before we trail behind the group.
I didn't let the attention erase the fact that Bronny wasn't there during lunch. Maybe something came up.
As we walked the campus I saw girls eyeing me with a stink eye and I almost damn flipped them over while there were staffs near.
We get to the court after a 5 minute walk, me and Josh had small talk while the group infront talked hella loud.
"Man you know Steph Curry is better than your squidward legs on steroids" Brielle said toward Z Wade. Another loud burst of laughter comes from the teens. Me and Josh just giggle along, secretly making fun of them.
We get to the court which had one and two courts. I saw Bronny on the one closest to us where the group seemed to be heading. So this is were he's been? And he playing in his hoodie.
