Lilja

The dwarves and I are pushed, protesting, into several cells.

"This is not the end of it! You hear me?" Dwalin says

"Let us out of here!" Gloin exclaims

"Get off me!" Dori says

The elf in charge of Fili finds another large dagger hidden in his coat, and Fili sighs in frustration. Kili addresses the female elf I learned is Tauriel as she locks him in his cell.

"Aren't you going to search me? I could have anything down my trousers." Kili says

"Or nothing." She says

As Tauriel haughtily slams the cell door shut and walks away, Kili looks after her and smiles a little. Legolas stops Tauriel on her way out of the prison corridor and says something in elvish to her.

I see Legolas and Kili glare at each other.

Dwalin and several other dwarves throw themselves against their cell doors, grunting in their effort. Balin finally yells at them.

"Leave it! There's no way out. This is no Orc dungeon; these are the halls of the Woodland Realm. No one leaves here but by the king's consent." Balin says

Meanwhile, Thorin has been brought before King Thranduil. We hear yelling upstairs.

"I would not trust Thranduil, the great king, to honor his word should the end of all days be upon us!" Thorin yells

"You lack all honor! I've seen how you treat your friends. We came to you once, starving, homeless, seeking your help, but you turned your back. You turned away from the suffering of my people and the inferno that destroyed us!"  Thorin continues

"Imrid amrad ursul!" Thorin yells, I snicker understanding it.

Thorin

Thranduil then says something in elvish to a gaurd, few moments later I hear screaming and grunting behind me. I turn and see they have brought Lilja up.

"Ah, my missing prisoner, time to suffer as you should have long ago" Thranduil says. My eyes widen understanding

"No! Leave her alone!" I yell

Lilja just shakes her head at me. "Thorin, just leave it. It's ok." She says

"No!" I yell

The guards grab me and shove me down the stairs, I fight trying to get to Lilja.

"Stay here if you will, and rot. A hundred years is a mere blink in the life of an elf. I am patient. I can wait." Thranduil says as I am dragged away from my love.

I am thrown into a cell beside the other dwarves, and my jailer walks away with a ring of jangling keys.

"Did he offer you a deal?" Balin asks

"He did. I told him he could go 'Ish kakhfê ai'd dur rugnu!" I say

Hearing this, Balin closes his eyes and sighs wearily in frustration.

"Well...that's it, then. A deal was our only hope." Balin says

"Not our only hope."  I say

"They have Lilja" I tell the others

"Oh dear, what do you think they will do?" Bofur asks

"I do not know. I promised I'd keep her safe, I've failed her" I say almost sobbing

I can't lose her not now.

"She'll be alright Thorin. She's a fighter" Kili says

"I hope so" I say

I grab her bag and look through it, in there is her cape and a book and another book and some pencils, one book she draws or writes in and the other looks like it belonged to a family member. I sit and sob. I can't lose her, I love her too much, oh Mahal keep her safe!
