My parents adopted me when I was younger, when I was 5. Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers came in and adopted me. They got married 5 months before they decided to adopt and here I am, 17 and their sending me to Midtown high school.
One thing that they said Peter Parker goes there and that it would be easy to go into the school with someone I know. Anyway the trip for the summer with the school is in a couple of weeks and I'm beginning at the school at the end of the semester so I can go on the school trip.
"Larissa!" said mum, walking inside. "Yeah?" I ask. "You need to get ready for the first day of school" said mum. "I know, I have to have a quick shower" I said. "OK, dad's going to give you a lift" said mum. I smile at her and nod. "OK!" I said, smiling. I go to the bathroom and have my shower.
Once I finish and get dried I pull on an outfit. I look in the mirror and smile. A pair of jeans and a t-shirt. It's a good outfit for the first day of school and I grab my socks. I slide them on and find my vans. I brush and blow dry my hair. I brush it again and curl it. I smile and do light make up. I step out of the bathroom and go downstairs. I hear talking, so I hide behind the wall and watch my dad and mum talk. My dad pulls mum into him and kisses her.
"I love you, Nat" said dad. "I love you too, Steve. I'm so glad we survived the battle after the blip" said mum. "So am I, Tony told me he wants to visit during the weekend with Pepper and Morgan" said dad. "I better go food shopping" said mum. I step out and walk inside. "Oh there is our little spy" said dad, walking over to me. "Morning dad" I said, hugging him. "How was your sleep last night?" asked dad. I look up at him. "Good, a bit bad at the start but that was only the nerves" I said, smiling.
"Well, you will be fine. I talked to Peter and he said he will meet you there" said dad. I smile and hug him. I have cereal and tea. I grab my stuff and we go to the car. I said bye to mum at the door and dad drove to the school. We park and I look at dad. "Am I getting the bus home?" I ask. "No, I'm gonna pick you and Peter up. I'm dropping Peter home" said dad. I nod and go inside. I step outside and walk inside. "Larissa?" asked Peter. "Hey Peter" I said, smiling.
"Hey, I saw you walking in and I came over" said Peter. "Oh right. Sorry, is it bad here?" I ask. "No, only one person. His name is Flash, he bullies me but it's fine" said Peter. "He shouldn't bully you" I said, frowning. "It's fine" said Peter. "He cannot bully you for what? Existing" I said. "He can and he will" said Peter. I frown. "Here is your schedule, your dad allowed me to get your timetable" said Peter. I take it and thank him. "Thanks, Peter" I said. "Your in all my classes" said Peter. I smile and we walk towards the first class.
"Hey Peter" said a boy and a girl. We walk over. "Hey guys, this is Larissa, she's new her" said Peter. "Hey, I'm MJ and this is Ned" said MJ, looking at me. "Hey, its nice to meet you" I said. "Hey penis Parker" said this idiot walking into the classroom. "That's Flash, the guy who bullies me" said Peter. "That dick" I said. We walk into the classroom and I sit at a desk and Peter sits beside me while MJ and Ned sit in front of us. A teacher walks inside and sits down at his desk.
He begins to talk about history and begins to mention Captain America. I sigh and look down. "So, Captain America became a criminal to help his old best friend" said the teacher, Mr. Swift. I roll my eyes and Peter glances at me. "I'm sorry" said Peter, whispering. "It's fine" I said. Eventually it's time for lunch. I grab some food at the canteen and sit beside Peter.
"Um.... what do you guys do for fun here?" I ask. "Nothing really, only thing we do is homework and then PE which I don't mind since I'm fairly strong but you know can't be over doing it" said Peter. "Sure" I said. I yawn and lunch ends. We go to the remaining classes and then finally we get to go home. Me and Peter go to my dad's car. "Hey dad" I said. "Hi, sir" said Peter. "Just call me Steve, Peter" said dad. He nods and I sit in the front.
We drop Peter home and dad drives us home. We go inside and mum walks over. "How was school?" asked mum. "Fine, hung around with Peter, Ned and MJ" I said. "That's good" said mum. "Yeah, what's for dinner?" I ask. "Roast chicken dinner, Lyssa" said mum. I nod and go do my homework in my room. I sit at my desk and yawn. I finish and hear my name being called.
I go downstairs. I sit down and we have our dinner. "Sweetheart you have to pack for the trip" said dad. "I know, I am" I said. Dad smiles and ruffles my hair. "That's my girl" said dad. I laugh and nod. Mum smiles.
I go to my room afterwards and put on my pyjama's. I lie in bd and fall asleep.
Natasha's POV:
Larissa is in bed and I clean up. I feel arms wrapping around my waist. Steve kisses my neck. "Dinner was amazing, as usual, Nat" said Steve. "Thank you" I said, humming as he kisses my neck. I turn around and wrap my arm around his neck. "Do you miss the days before the fight with Thanos?" asked Steve. I sigh and look at him.
"In a way yes, it was much easier not knowing how bad shit was going to go but it happened. We went through so much during those five years so let's move on. Luckily we don't have missions to do but I'm sure we will. I wish Wanda would call me. I'm worried" I said. "She will eventually, she lost Vision and she needs to grieve" said Steve. I nod and kiss him. I hum during the kiss. "I wonder what it would be like to have a kid of our own that I could give birth to but of course the red room took that away from me" I said, looking down. "I know but we have Lyssa and I love you for you, not because a woman should have babies but for you" said Steve. I smile and hug him.
We go to our room and we get changed. "Tony wants to visit soon" said Steve. "I know, his excited" I said. He kisses my cheek and we fall asleep cuddled after a long day.
A new book!
Obviously it sucks that Natasha can't have kids but I wonder if I can change it that she can but I don't think I will.
Larissa is not gonna be nice towards Flash which you will see soon! I might publish a chapter where it's a profile of Larissa to feel more connected with her!
