Chapter 16 - Double life / Zero's Will

It's been 9 days since the Motor City fight happened. It's 3 am Sanahh wakes up hearing vibrations coming from the lower part of the house. She screams angrily " WHAT THE FUCK IS THATTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!" , Rocket walks out his room and says yawning " Oh that's Onyx & Zero they've been in the Indestructible Training room I built for them fighting each other trying to get stronger for all of these days they even slept in there. Ever since I healed Zero in my kickstarter machine he's been going hard in there". Sanahh then says " Wow without meeeee I'm so gonna kill them & he seriously needs to clean up these empty pizza boxes in the kitchen it's so gross , have you seen Echo? She's been gone for a while". Rocket says " Um I haven't seen her yet idk what she looks like cool name tho".

Currently in Echo's home town Dead End city she's been up to something. Marissa watched her from a far distance perched on the edge of a roof in her Phantom Cat suit. She says to herself " Now Ms.Banshee what exactly is your angle" as she zooms in with the eyes on her suit and turns up the reach of the ears. She's been following Echo around for a few days she finally gets something , Echo & a group of people leave the house it's go time. Marissa Bolts down there running like a cat on all fours down the building before launching off the side beaming into the window. She scans the whole apartment for traps & alarms also trying to see if she sense any spirit energy in there. She picks up these papers and reads then & says " Oh so their a gang of Rats that's call themselves the Scorpions. They're a faction ran by Echo' mom Julia Banshee that sell information to the government in exchange for them to turn a blind eye to the things they do & give them property. The Vice Captain Appears to be Echo Banshee who's also a Spy striking the rest of my info right. They're a group full of Pyrokinetics ( fire abilities) , the only 2 differentiating would be Echo and her mom. By the Feeling of the Spirit energy coming off her room it's to say her moms Ability is Beast cry. Beast cry is a rare ability ever seen it's to change into any animal or mythical creature & to use its abilities".

     
        Marissa then finds more information she looks at the at the blackboard in the living room. She thinks to herself "who leaves info out like this such dummiesssssss". It saying for them to gain control of the world with the help of the government if Echo kills Zero or hands him over to them or finds a way to take his powers away. They don't even seem to care about anyone losing their free will or peoples spirit energy and abilities being taken they just want money and control they'll never get the government doesn't give anyone a fair trade. After she records everything and gets what she needs she starts to leave and Echo comes back.... Before she can even move Marissa bolts around the room and the ceiling at Lightspeed clawing up Exho before she can react to use her abilities getting a blood sample and also a picture of the scorpion on her back. Marissa flees leaving Echo confused.

        Marissa gets back to her home takes off her suit to review all the information she's collected in the past few months to see how it adds up to all her information. She knows all the governments secrets she just couldn't seem to trust anyone to gather Allies to take them down without them double crossing her. Over the years she's surfed through countless files on people in factions and she didn't find any she felt she can trust till she discovered Zero again. She puts a lot of pieces to together first she throws up Echo's on her hologram screen, Her true identity Echo Banshee the Disloyal one. She used to be poor until she and her gang struck a deal with the government when she was 6 & they made her also into a spy. One of her first missions was to hurt that rookie hero to make it look good so she can start her first spy mission at Planet Ultra. She could've broken out of there anytime she wanted Marissa did a scan on her blood that shows her abilities potential was limitless. She's no different from Sailor he wants power & rule over people , She wants Power over everything that exist.

      She also did human trafficking jobs for the government to harvest humans spirit energy to take it and to boost the power of Heros. She also helped Maxus brainwash mostly the entire government and everyone who goes to church subconsciously taking their free will away. Her brain waves didn't even show her to be under any type of mind control she was doing this all on her own free will. Luckily Marissa can do something about because unlike people who can build up a mental fortress against Telepathy she's immune to it. What it seems she's also been trying to make Zero soft , she pulled up all footage from Planet Ultra during those 4 years and analyzed it closely. As she watches the footage she noticed her using empathy on him at his lowest manipulating him. He should've been way stronger than he was in there Marissa has research him too he can do a lot more than make weapons. She was trying snub out the darkness inside of him well the Scientist & Psychologist was too. Most of the Human race carries darkness some more than others and make it dangerous.
