Chapter 1: Nightmares of Feelings

Kai's P.O.V

I flinched as I jolted up from the floor inside our training room and groaned.

"I really thought you would've handled that better Kai, such a weak nothingness. If you really wanted to properly protect your sister from him you would've done more to block that attack" Cole said, scoffing a little "You truly are nothing without your power huh?" He said more than asked.

I stood up and flinched, frowning a bit. "What-I did what I could against a fucking BOULDER being thrown at me with the ground cracking!" I replied, gasping and blocking with my sword quickly as Cole jumped at me with his scythe. We dueled for awhile until my legs got frozen to the floor and Cole put his scythe to my neck.

"Nya's going to die and you can barely handle training, you're a worthless nobody and remember that" Cole said, slightly laughing as his scythe cut me.

I gasped as I fell off my bed and groaned. I looked around and than felt my sides, feeling nothing I stood up, looking around. What...what even was that? I don't recall even going to bed either? I looked around and than sighed, shrugging and walking to my bathroom connected to the bedroom. I let out a groan hearing a knock at my door.

"Using the shower!" I called and than turned on some music, taking off my clothes and getting into the shower.

I turned on the shower water to hot and leaned back slightly, allowing the water to run down my skin, the heat of the shower and burning felt nice on my skin. I closed my eyes and started to rinse and clean my hair while I did so.

My bedroom door opened up as Cole walked in, me and him sat down on my bed. I felt extremely nervous for some reason? It was odd, I've never been nervous especially around Cole, we're the closest of friends so I've never been nervous. I looked at Cole and laughed nervously.

"So..why are you in here? What's up Cole?" I asked, tilting my head curiously, like..dude I just came from the shower I guess? So like why? Cole looked at me so confusedly and replied "What the hell do you mean why am I here? You asked me over Kai" Cole put a hand on my leg and frowned "you've been off so I mean I was going to visit anyways but still, you called me over" Cole gave a sincere smile and I leaned against him a bit and sighed.

Should I really tell him yet? What if..what if he gets mad, hates me, or everything falls apart? I looked at Cole and than back to the floor. "I dont know if I should tell you, I don't want to mess anything up" I said cautiously. Cole gave a reassuring smile "hey, Kai, you know me. You telling me something wont mess up shit so don't worry bud" Cole said and chuckled lightly.

Maybe...Maybe he's right? I guess I don't really have much to lose. I let out a quiet sigh and looked at Cole in his eyes. "Cole I...I have a..I'm in love with you" I said. Cole's smiled turned to a frown and opened his mouth to say something but as he spoke I couldn't..I couldn't hear anything and he looked really angry as he yelled? talked?

I flinched, jolting and opening my eyes as I heard a bang on my door and frowned.

"Whose there!?" I called out, earning a sigh of relief from someone. "Its me! Jay! we got worried since you've been in there for like-three hours! are you okay?" Jay's voice came from my bedroom door.

I frowned upon hearing, getting confused as I looked at my hands, seeing that they were extremely pruned up. I guess the idiot was right? I stood up and sighed, turning off the shower and stepping out, grabbing a towel and started to dry off. I could hear Jay looking through my drawers, probably for some outfit for me...hopefully...I couldn't care much if they looked through my things, majority of things that'd be a concern was hidden under my mattress which no one ever would check because we tell each other everything, no secrets I honestly laugh at that every time Cole and Wu preach that, like... That's the most stupidest rule ever, heard of fucking privacy? I let out a sigh and blinked as Jay opened the door and quickly put the towel around me, making the other burst into laughter a bit.

"Hey Kai, here's your clothes!" He said, handing me a pile of clothes, he gave an odd look to my neck but shook it off and grinned "join us! We're training so you kind of do need to or Wu will be up your butt" Jay said amusedly and backed up before exiting my room.

I let out a groan of annoyance but nodded, drying off fully and put on my black leggings, a red tank top, some black fingerless gloves, my fire design boots, yep, you heard me. Awhile back I had gotten someone to customize some boots for me into this cool, fire design like, fucking love them.

After a bit I joined the others in the training room and looked at Sensei.

I have been updating this constantly for like-since I announced the new Account help:')
I like how it came out though, I wanted to make it much longer but I ended up getting writers block like-for a few months now so I guess that's all for this chapter! hopefully you guys like it too! I can see a HUGE improvement to my writing style here d a m n,compared to the other lmao-
Also! the drawing is mine used with a base but in my style, wanted to draw how Kais outfit was soo-yee! THE BASE/DRAWING I USED TO HELP WITH MINE IS BY NINJAWHOA ON TUMBLR
