Klee joins the fatui (sad)

17: Special Baskin Robbins Episode

"Klee we're here." My nerves tensed up and I nervously stood up, I heard Inazuma was quite the dangerous place. I slowly walked toward the boat exit breathing heavily. I believe this is the electro region? I walked onto the dock and looked around, "It doesn't look dangerous.." Klee muttered out.

"What was that?" Childe looked down at me and asked.

"Nothing, sorry."

We then went off to some sort of dungeon thingy, Childe snooped around inside before he let me in. It's rather quiet in here, all that's heard is the sound of the creaks the wood makes when I step on it. Me and Childe were just snooping around fighting the things when we suddenly heard someone enter, who could that be?! We made haste to the entrance only to find.. the traveler?! They're with some... idk rockstar girl? Her guitar looks cool!!

Ugh Paimon was EXTRA annoying though, way more annoying than I expected her to be. Like, ew. We got cute pics though!!

She was also blaming Childe for everything?? Like no.

"This is all Childe's fault!"

"No it isn't!"

"Yes it is, Klee don't you see how evil he is?!"

"My dad is NOT evil! He is the kindest man I've ever met!"

"Dad?!" The Traveler and Paimon looked shocked when those words fell out of my mouth.

"Hey, doesn't this fella look a lil young to be a father?" Xinyan cocked her head to the side observing Childe, the atmosphere in here suddenly went dark.

"Well- they're not re-"

"It's adoptive," He interrupted them, "I adopted Klee."

Xinyan looked at me and then Childe, "I didn't even know you could adopt that young! Huh, you learn something new everyday!"

"How did you even meet?" Traveler looked at Childe squinting her eyes, it made him uncomfortable.

"Ok well it's a long story, so basically Master Jean banned me from Mondstadt. So then I went over to Liyue and I bumped into (literally) Childe. The he sparred with me and then I became a fatui harbinger and now Childe is my dad!!"

"You joined the fatui..." Traveler glared at Childe, "No, Klee, you don't understand. The fatui are bad people."

"No they're not! At least Childe has his brother.." I chuckled under my breath as I could see Traveler trying to hold back tears. After a brief silence someone finally spoke.

"C'mon Paimon, we're leaving."

"Aw traveler, I was hoping you could stay for a bit," I said mockingly to Traveler but Traveler was already on her way.

"What a baby," I crossed my arms and looked up at Childe "C'mon let's go, monsters await us."

Childe just nervously chuckled and took my hand, he didn't really know how to respond to what she said. This child was, something. He didn't know how to explain it, words that weren't even said to him made him shiver.

We quickly finished up their business and took our leave, Klee requested ice cream after so we went to Baskin Robins.

"You did real good today y'know that?"

"Thank you! I slayed as always." I chirped as I skipped along the sidewalk.

"And about that comment you made to Traveler, do you think you might've took it a bit too far?"

Klee thought about it for a second and gave her reply, "No."

"Oh! Well-"

"I mean just think about it, she was speaking atrocities about you and the Fatui."

"Well, I think she has reason for-"

"No, she doesn't! I don't like it when people are mean to you Dad," Klee looked away for a second, Childe squeezed my hand tighter.

"We're here," He said as they both looked up.

I pulled on the handle and we went inside, I wanted cotton candy icecream.

"Hi, Noelle!"

"Why hello there Klee!" Noelle smiled and looked up, "and Childe."

"Oh okay, anyway. I'll have 2 scoops of vanilla icecream in a sprinkle cone and Klee will have cotton candy icecream in a cup with sprinkles and gummy bears."

"Okay! Your total will be $13.32."

Childe paid and they waited for their icecream, Noelle prepared it swiftly and Childe and I left.

Oh shit we completely forgot about Scaramouche.
