~Rydel's P.O.V.~
Riker walked downstairs and came up to me. I look up from my collage work and see him watching me.
"What's up, big bro?" I ask.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere with me." he answers.
"Where?"
"The orphanage." he shrugs.
"Why are you going to the orphanage?" I question.
"Because I want to adopt a kid. I've been lonely ever since Hadley broke up with me and I've always wanted to be a dad." he replies.
"Can we get a girl?" I say, getting excited.
"No. I can get whatever gender I want. But let's go." Riker responds. I jump up and follow him outside. He drives to the Sunshine Acres Orphanage and we walk in.
"Hello, how may I help you?" a teen worker asks, looking down at some paper work.
"I'm here to adopt a kid." Riker answers. The girl looks up and squeals.
"OMG! You're Rydel and Riker from R5!" she smiles.
"Yeah. Last time I checked we were. Now, kid?" Riker replies.
"I'm sorry. I just totally love your music!" the girl continues to squeal. We walk right past her to an older lady and tell her Riker wants to adopt.
"Sure! Would you like a boy or a girl?" the lady asks.
"I was thinking a girl. Between the age of 4 and 6." he answers.
"Alright. Follow me." she smiles. She walks to a speaker and presses a button. "All little girls between 4 and 6 outside, please. All little girls between 4 and 6 outside." she says over an intercom. We walk outside and see little girls lining up together. Once they're all here, me and Riker start talking to them.
"None of these kids are perfect for our family." I tell him after talking with most of the girls.
"Yeah. I don't think we'll find the perfect little girl here." he agrees. I'm about to suggest we go but then notice a little girl standing in the back corner quietly. I walk over and kneel down to her level.
"Hey. My name's Rydel. What's your's?" I ask her.
"Rylie Mae." she quietly answers.
"That's pretty." Riker tells her, coming up behind me. I then notice she's wearing a colorful shirt that says 'Wild One', jeans, and converse tennis shoes. We talk with her for a little bit then Riker makes a decision. "Hey Rylie, how would you like to be adopted?" he asks.
"Really?" she questions with big eyes.
"Yep." Riker nods.
"Cool!" she smiles. Riker picks her up and we walk inside. While he fills out paper work, I talk with Rylie.
"So how old are you, Rylie?" I ask.
"Five." she answers.
"Come on, Rylie. You're officially a Lynch." Riker says, scooping her up from behind. We walk outside to his car and get in. Rylie sits on her knees so she can see out the window as we drive around L.A. and back home.
"Is this where you guys live?" she asks when we get there.
"Yep." I answer. Rylie hops out and Riker picks her up. We walk inside and see the boys all playing video games, mom in the kitchen, and dad was probably at work.
"Hey guys, we're back." Riker announces as we walk inside.
"Did you adopt a kid?" Rocky yells as he runs down the stairs with Ross and Ryland right behind him.
"Yeah. This is Rylie, Rylie, this is Uncle Rocky, Uncle Ross, and Uncle Ryland." Riker introduces. Rylie waves shyly then hides her face in Riker's neck.
"Sweet! We have a niece." Ross exclaims.
