~Riker's P.O.V.~
After an hour, Rylie is getting along with everyone perfectly. I'm really glad she is too because it would be awkward if my daughter didn't like anyone.
"Mr. Riker, I'm hungry." Rylie says, tapping my knee.
"Rylie, you can call me daddy." I tell her.
"Okay. Daddy, I'm hungry." she repeats.
"Alright. What do you want to eat?" I ask.
"Cereal." she states.
"Cereal? For dinner?" I question. She nods firmly so I shrug and get her some cereal. I sit down and eat some cereal beside her until the gang comes in.
"Hey, Rylie." Ross says.
"Really? What am I? Chopped liver?" I ask.
"Are we close enough I can tell you the truth or should I lie?" Ross responds.
"Shut up." I glare at him.
"Gladly." he agrees.
"Hey, Rylie. How about tomorrow, me and you go shopping?" Rydel suggests.
"Really?" Rylie excitedly says.
"Yep." Rydel nods.
"Yeah!" Rylie replies. I roll my eyes since my baby sister had already found a way to turn my daughter into her new shopping buddy.
~*~*~*~*~
We all end up in the living room after dinner somehow. But, we're not playing video games, we're actually socializing. Rylie is building something with Ryland's legos along with Ross and Ryland.
"No! It doesn't go there." Rylie says, removing a lego from the place Ryland put it. I laugh as she moves the lego to the "right" place and Ryland looks a little upset. Even though I know he's faking.
"What are we even building, Riles?" Ross asks.
"You'll see." she states, picking up a lego and connecting it to another thing. After a couple minutes, we see she built the tower of a castle. She connects it to the building and I realize it's a castle (pic attached).
"Wow. How did you make that without instructions?" Rydel asks.
"Easy. I just thought about what I needed and made it." Rylie shrugs.
"That's one smart cookie." Ratliff mumbles.
"Thank you." Rylie says, nodding once.
"How did you hear me? I mumbled it." Ratliff replies.
"I have good ears. Ms. Hazel always said it was hard to hide things from me." Rylie tells him.
"I bet." he agrees.
"Ross, do you have any people I can play with?" she asks my brother.
"Yeah. Right here." he answers, handing her some people. She starts to play with them and we all just talk.
"What are you gonna do when we're on tour?" Rocky questions.
"Take her with us." I shrug.
"That won't work, Riker." Rydel disagrees.
"Let's try it. And if it doesn't work, I'll figure something out." I tell her.
"Okay. But you gotta be careful. She's easy to break and you don't want to do that." Rydel replies. I nod and we watch as Rylie plays princess and prince with the lego people.
