Chapter 3

Valdo picked up the phone and dialed the number of Conner and put it on speaker. They waited until they heard a voice. "Hello?" Said a husky voice whose owner was Conner. Alisha gulped her saliva. She was getting turned on by his voice!?

"Hi, this is Alisha Cassano's manager. Valdo. A very serious case has occured as Alisha's sister has been kidnapped by one of the gangs in Berlin. We really need your help." Valdo said.

"What! Ok, Um. Book a flight to Berlin right now and come over. I shall be waiting for you at the airport and we'll settle everything." Conner said.

Valdo sighed and thanked him.

"Goodbye Alisha." Conner said on the phone, to be replied with no answer so he just chuckled and ended the call.

"Man, he really is still ever ready to help you. Isn't he?" Valdo said with a grin. Alisha rolled her eyes and called her servants up to pack her bags as Valdo booked the tickets to Berlin.

Conner placed the phone down and smiled. He was going to see Alisha's face after ten years. He really missed her and he would be lying if he said he didn't still love her.

Conner was walking out of school when he saw Alisha talking to another guy. He hated himself sometimes for being overly possessive. But he just didn't like other men talking to Alisha. He didn't even know when he started walking towards them.

"Hey Alisha." Conner greeted. "Conner!" Alisha squealed calmly.

"This is Forze. A classmate of mine." Alisha introduced as she gently leaned her body against Conner's.

Forze seemed to have gotten intimidated by Conner so he left sooner. Conner and Alisha started walking.

"Why were you so jealous?" Alisha asked out of the blue which caused Conner's head to snap and look at her.

"What? No!" Conner defended.

"Oh really? Then why were you pulling my waist to you when I was talking to Forze?" Alisha asked with a smirk.

"No...I...I was just. Making sure your waist was...um...your wai-" he was cut off by her.

"I love you." She said, out of the blue once again. Conner stopped walking and looked at her in shock.

"I love you." She said, more prominently now.

She walked closer to him to not leave any space between their two physical beings. "You have brought light into my life. You have taught me how to have fun. You have allowed me to be open and not care about anything. You have also taught me how to love. I love you Conner Vincenzo." She said.

Conner was left speechless. He gulped in his saliva and said, "Alisha, you can't love me." He said. She frowned. "Why not?" She asked. He sighed, looked around and turned back to her.

"I'm from the Vincenzo Mafia Family." He said.

Alisha gasped. How could she not know. But her heart swelled up with even more love now that he had told her the truth.

"I'll still love you." She said.

"Alisha. It's dangerous to love me." He said.

"Do you love me?" She asked, looking bold at his eyes.

"Of course I do. So much. But we can't." He said with remorse.

"I am Alisha Cassano, from the Cassano Mafia Family." She said.

He looked at her in shock. He seemed to be in more shock than she was in a few moments ago.

"What?"

"Conner. We both come from the same background. Which means we both know the feeling of being lonely. It's not pleasant. Which is why I want to spend all my time with you now." She said.

He was still contemplating. She had already made up her mind and had already wrapped her arms around his neck. That action of hers, instantly made him wrap his around her waist.

"I love you." She said while kissing the skin beside his lips.

"I love you too, Alisha." Seems like he had made up his mind which made Alisha smile.

Conner smiled and sighed. A woman who he had loved and lost. He walked over back to his desk and switched on his laptop, searching the location of Aaliyah Cassano.

"Location of Aaliyah Cassano. Last scene The Brandenburg Gate."

The AI said from his huge monitor. Conner jogged to his living room and got the number if Valdo. Even though they would be reaching in two hours, he decided to go to the airport already. He couldn't wait to see her.
