"Now how did you get there.." The gator glared his sharp teeth at the young girl in an attempt to scare her, as a result, all he got was a giggle and a small hand on her snout.

Madeline smiled, "You're so much cooler in person, and tall too!!" She exclaimed, kicking her feet back and forth in excitement. Her hands were placed on his nose as she laughed.

"Wh- No!" He growled, trying to seem more intimidating. "You shouldn't be here. This area is off-limits to guests. You're in big trouble, kid! I'm taking you to lost and found, where even are your parents..-"

"Wait, No! Please don't Mr. Montgomery, the rabbit lady is gonna catch me if you do that!! That's the only reason I'm in here! well, partly.." Monty's angry expression fazed into a confused one.

"Huh? What are you talking about, what rabbit lady?" He started to seem persistent about the "rabbit lady".

"Yeah!! She tried to hurt me! Well, I think.. It seemed like she wanted to, she was really scary!!" Madeline put her hands in the air, "She wasn't as big as you guys though, she's as short as my mommy when she doesn't have her tall shoes on... still scary though, hehe-.."

Monty set the girl down and kneeled to her level, "What did this.. "rabbit lady" look like?"

Madeline fiddled with her small fingers, "Well.. She was white, and had big red eyes!" Monty let out a sigh of relief, running his claws through his pinkish-red mohawk as he stood up.

"Alright, kiddo. Let's get you to your parents, otherwise, we are both going to get in trouble." He grabbed Madeline's small hand, immediately noticing how tiny her's were compared to his.

"B-but what about the rabbit lady-"

"You will be fine, let's just get you to your parent before the Pizzaplex closes--"

"Hello, Fazbear family! Thank you for joining us at the Freddy Fazbear Mega Pizzaplex and we hope you enjoyed the show. We are now closing. Head to the front, and don't forget to get your free novelty glasses, a voucher for one free soda refill, and where you will sign a legal disclaimer releasing us of all liability for anything that might have happened during your visit. Have a good night, and we hope to see you again soon!" The announcement blared through the speakers, making Madeline jump from the unexpectedness.

Monty groaned, dragging his hand down his face in an annoyed manner. "That just made things a lot more annoying... Now you're going to have to stay in the lost and found with the security guard most likely all night kid. Don't know what to tell ya."

The little girl sighed. It was a mistake to leave her parents. They did care about her enough to come back and get her instead of waiting till the next day... right "Ok.. Fine..." Madeline crossed her arms, clearly not happy about the arrangement. "But can you stay with me too? I've never seen you before and you're so cool!"

"Yeah yeah, we'll see about that," Monty extended his hand down to Madeline, offering to take her hand. "Let's get you outta here." The girl's blue eyes sparkled like diamonds as she took his hand, a big smile on her face.

The duo exited rockstar row, making their way to the lost and found. They were walking down a long hallway with concrete flooring and grey brick walls. It was rather intimidating to the child, but Monty insisted they went that way because it was a shortcut. "Alright, a few rooms over should be the entrance to the lost and found." Mongomery opened the door to the next room, "It shouldn't take too long since--" The large gator stopped in his tracks. "Chica??"

Kneeled on the floor was the chicken Madeline met earlier. She had turned into one of Madeline's favorite animatronics so she was happy to meet her again! She tried to walk forward to go say hi to Chica but a scaley green and yellow tail was blocking the way

"Wait," Monty whispered in a demanding tone. "Chica, what are you doing in here? You should be-" Chica quickly turned her head a full 180 degrees, not even her body moved. "The hell..?"

The chicken's eyes looked toward the child. "This area is off-limits." Chica stood up and turned her body around to match her head's position. Behind her was a pile of trash, it seemed as if she was eating it earlier. Ignoring Monty, she ran at Madeline as fast as she could, her hands reaching for her.

"Monty?! What's wrong with her!!"

"I don't know, but RUN!" Monty stepped in front of Madeline and grabbed chicas hands, pushing her body away. The sounds of Chica's metal feet screeched through the echoey room, piercing Madeline's ear's just before she ran out. Monty stared into Chica's eyes. "What the hell are you doing, Chica!?" When he looked into her eyes it didn't look the same. The orbs had a strong magenta tint to them. Monty threw Chica onto the floor, a loud "BAWK!" came from her as she hit the floor. Monty ran to the door and closed it in front of her as she stretched her arm out to him. He locked it and quickly shoved a bookshelf filled with cleaning supplies in front of the door. He didn't want to take any risks, so he quickly ran to where Madeline fleed. He found her in the corner of a utility closet, her knees pulled up to her chest.

The gator kneeled in front of her, "Are you alright??"

Madeline looked up at Monty, he immediately noticed a tear or two running down her small face. "Is Chica ok?"

"Well.. that's debatable, but anyway, why are you crying?" Montgomery had a worried tone in his voice, he barely knew the kid but felt like he had to take care of her. Probably because of his programming...

"I'm sorry Mr. Montgomery, this is all my fault... Chica's probably mad at me because my parents are mean.."

"Nonono, that's not it kid. Something else was going on I think... Don't worry, she won't hurt you."

He sat next to Madeline, barely fitting in the utility closet.

"I'll protect you."
