for this story neither johnny or dally died and johnny is 17  Ponyboy is 15 you are almost 18 and Steve is 18-19(I can't remember his age in the book lol, about 1 year older )

Your POV:

I was at the Curtis' house, I had been watching TV, laying on their couch, and eating cake for a while before Steve ran inside and grabbed my arm.

"Wha- HEY LET ME GO THAT HURTS!" I screamed at my boyfriend, I tried slapping his hand away but he wouldn't budge.

Ponyboy and Johnny who had been sitting on the floor chatting away stared at us both in confusion.

"Steve.. please, not in front of them.." I whispered to Steve

I didn't know what was going on but whatever it was I didn't want Ponyboy and Johnny to see it.

Steve glanced over at them, "Fine, we're going to your house." he said coldly "hurry up and get your shit." he left and went to his car.

"Uhh.. is everything okay Y/N?" Ponyboy asked shyly.

I smiled acting like it was I had no clue what was going on but I knew Steve was pissed.

"Everything is fine, Ponyboy... I got to go tell everyone I said hi.." I looked towards Johnny "Bye Johnny.." Johnny and I had always been super close, we met at the lot when we were younger, I'm only a few months older than him.

I signaled him to come over, he whispered something to Ponyboy and stood up and walked towards me.

"Yeah?" he said nervously.

I don't know why but I could sense something was going to happen tonight and I didn't know what. I walked closer to him and pulled him into a hug, he paused for a moment but hugged back quickly.

"Promise you'll be alright?" he whispered in a scared tone.

"Promise.." I whispered before I heard Steve screaming my name. I swiftly pulled away and grabbed my things "Bye Johnnycake.. bye pony!" I ran out of the house before they could say anything.

When I got outside I saw a very angry Steve waiting for me in his car. I sighed and ran to the passenger side.

"What took you so long?!" he scowled at me as he drove off towards my house.

"I had to say bye to Ponyboy and Johnnycake," I say looking out the window.

"Whatever, we have something important to talk about when we get home." that was all we said until we got into my house.

I put my things down as he walked inside and locked the door. That was when all hell broke loose.

"Y/N," he grumbled.

"What.." I said quietly.

"What the hell do you think going round' kissing people, huh?!" he yelled as he sat down and slammed his hand on the table in front of him.

"W-what!?" I stuttered, "Steve I would never do that to you.." I  said trying to reason with him, but he didn't listen.

"Some guy told me you kissed him," he said glaring at you.

That left me speechless. "No, I didn't!" I yelled back.

that was when he stood up and glared at me. "I don't believe you."

I couldn't believe he didn't trust me after all that we had been through.

"So... You believe some guy over me!?" I yelled at him with angry tears in my eyes.

"YES! because he said you kissed multiple people that weren't me!" he yelled walking closer to me, making me take a step back.

"I... I can't believe this.." I said as I started to bawl. "I can't believe you think that is true!"

He ran up to me pushing me against the wall as he started to yell in my face. "I KNOW ITS TRUE YOU FUCKING SLUT!" he yelled in my face.

I couldn't say anything.. he knew I hated being called that.. "IT'S NOT!"

"YOU FUCKING LIAR!" he said as he slapped my face.

I stood there not moving.

he took a step back realizing what he had just done. "Y/N... I'm sorry I didn't mean to me-"

"Get out." I interrupted.

"W-What?.." he started "Y/N... I'm sorry!"

"I DON'T CARE GET OUT! NOW!" I yelled crying as I put my hand on the place he slapped me, feeling the warm sharp pain.

he lowered his head and walked out, and shut the door.

I didn't know what to do so I just ran to my room and started to cry.
