Turning the Gears

[guys am so sorry for the stupidly long and really dumb delay in chapters! I've been REALLY busy with my personal life and dealing with some major art and writer's block! basically been really discouraged to do much but I've cranked out a chapter for you lads to enjoy!~]

Come next morning...we see both y/n and mei fast asleep the sun new dawn almost peaking into the room from the cracks in the blinds. y/n face twitched slightly before he turned away from it before he unconsciously pulled Mei closer to himself, it was quite clear the two of them were spooning. It might have been the fact the bed they slept on was maybe too small?  anyway back to the story at hand 

Mei groaned a little before she herself turned towards y/n, and thus the two of them switched places with y/n becoming the little spoon. to which he settled into before mei had wrapped her arms around him practically using the sleeping boy like a body pillow.

time continued to pass before a sudden alarm went off to which y/n lazily looked up his hair lightly put over his face before he tapped around and touched what assumed was a phone before turning it off. and going back to sleep for the time being. 

one hour later...

y/n currently was trying to get out of bed the only issue? he couldn't escape Hatsumi's hold, she currently had one of him, 

y/n: M-Mei l-let me go!

Mei: mnnooooo five more minutes...zzz

y/n: y-you s-said t-that ah! five minutes ago! 

y/n had finally gotten free before Mei got up and looked at him like a predator staring at its prey she held her arms out wide before once more grabbing onto him and pulling him back into the warm depths that was the blanket

Mei: five. more. minutes. 

y/n: b-but I need to g-get out of bed-

Mei: please?

y/n:...

y/n: f-fine...

they proceeded to sleep for five more minutes...that's a lie Mei and he had fallen asleep for a whole two more hours before both of them got out of bed and headed on downstairs to find Mei mother making breakfast, smelling it y/n stomach immediately responded to the delicious mixed aromas filling his senses

Mei: morning mum.

Mei's mother turned around with a smile on her face setting aside the food she was cooking before speaking to them.

Mei's mother: oh good morning to you both. I assume you slept well!~

Mei: mh I needed that. 

mei Mother: I could tell you haven't been sleeping normally for a week and a half, I wonder what changed that?

she asked "cluelessly" before setting a plate up for y/n who was currently getting carried by Mei considering the boy hadn't put in his prosthetics for the morning. the boy was practically still asleep hadn't it been for mei's mother waking him up. he began to eat all be it in his tired state.

Mei mother: y/n honey are you alright?

y/n was practically a zombie, slowly he looked up at mei's mother and blinked slowly before her mother simply sighed and approached the boy in his tired state. looking at him she shook her head and put the boy on the sofa before he smelt food being put near him opening his mouth up he began to eat what he was fed.

from there he eventually managed to get enough food in his system that he was finally aware of what was going on before he noticed his arm and leg weren't attached and began to panic.
