Chapter 2

I walked up stairs and got changed. I was going out to race tonight.

I climbed out my window and then jumped down. I had my keys and got in my car. I drove to the place where I was racing. I pulled up to the line and looked at the other racers.

I got 2 place and that's good I guess I have gotten first before. I pulled up and got out. I was saying thanks to people an hi then I saw Luke.

I walked over to him and stood next to him.

"Didn't know you came to these?" I said more of a question.

"Oh all the time" he said looking at me smiling.

"Oh really" I said laughing.

"So you ok after what happened today?" He asked.

"Yeah I slipped over a good of a car it's not that bad haha" I said laughing. He was about to say something when my phone went off. That meant I had to get home.

"I have to go" I said running to my car and driving away.

I got back to the house and climbed through my window. Once I closed my window I turned and saw Dom.

"Oh hey Dom .... What's up?" I asked nervous.

"Where were you?!" He asked with his arms crossed.

"Racing" I told him flat out.

"I race every Friday and today I got second place" I said. He didn't seem mad.

"Ok" he said walking out of the room.

I went to bed after that.

NEXT MORNING

I woke up and got dressed (outfit up top) and did my makeup. I walked down stairs and saw a note saying that they were at the shop.

I walked outside and got in my car then drove there. I saw Mia still working and Dom wasn't in sight.

I got out and walked in.

"Hey Mia" I said grabbing a water.

"Hey" she said looking at a magazine. I looked around and still saw no Dom.

"Where's Dom and Letty and them?" I asked.

"Out idk they had to do something I guess" she said closing the magazine on the counter and standing up straight looking at me.

"How's the side?" She asked. Oh god back on this topic.

"It's fine Mia it wasn't that hard of a fall" I said crossing my arms.

"You slipped over a car and fell and hard rock there's gotta be a bruise" she said lifting my shirt on one side to reveal a nasty blue and purple bruise.

"OMG" I said touching it lightly.it was big. How did I not see this.

Mia pushed on it and I pulled away and winced at the pain.

"Really?!" I said putting my shirt back down.

"What?" Mia asked as if she had done nothing wrong.

"Really I have a bruise and your gunna push on it" I said crossing my arms. She started laughing. I cracked a smile then grabbed a towel.

I started cleaning off the tables and counters. I knew Vince liked Mia but Mia didn't like him back.

"Sooo" I said looking at Mia as she did something.

"What?" She asked looking up.

"You gunna go with Vince to that one place" I said with a smirk on my face.

" no" she said fast making us burst into laughter.

"No I don't like him in that way" she said looking down.

"Oh you like Bryan that's right" I said nodding my head. Her head shot in my direction fast.

"Brianna!" She said wide eyed making me laugh.

"Mia!" I said copying her.

"I know you do you make it so obvious" I said looking at my nails then at her.

"Do not!" She said.

"Uh yeah you do when he comes in or came in you always did a weird flirty thing and when we had that party and he came over you took your hair down changed your shirt took him home...." I went on.

"Ok ok I get it" she said stopping me there with a little giggle.

"Why don't you take him on a date or something?" I said grabbing some plates and putting them away.

"No! The guy is supposed to do that not me" she said.

"Be the bigger person Mia just make it uh casual" I said looking back at her.

"How?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest.

"Just be like hey there is this place we should go sometime and he I gunna say like a date then you say only if you want it to be and-" she cut me off.

"No only if you want it to be just sounds to creepy" she said shaking her head.

"Then you figure it out I ain't your planner!" I said turning around.

"Fine" she said turning the other way. I could hear her laughing and I was too. We finished our shift then went home...........
