RUN AWAY | JAKEHOON

"Mom?" Sunghoon called her, smiling. "Sunghoon-ah, i missed you" she said, the older ran to her, hugging her.

Mrs. Park slowly tapped his back, tearing up, "i missed you too, Mom.."

She smiled, "have you been well?" She asked, broking the hug, Sunghoon smiled back and wiped his tears, he nods. "Yes, i'm doing well because of someone"

"Really? That's good news" she proudly said and caressed his hair, "if you could meet him, i'm pretty sure you'll like him too"

Mrs. Park chuckled, "i would like to meet him then", Sunghoon laughed.

"Aigo.. You're a big boy now, i didn't even witnessed you growing up" she mumbled, "atleast i know that you're still protecting me and staying by my side."

"Thank you, Sunghoon. My son, thank you for not giving up" she thanked and held his hands.

The older smiled as a tear came out from his eye, Mrs. Park sighed, "time to go now, Sunghoon. Take care, i love you" she said, tip toing to kiss his forehead.

"Mom.." the older mumbled, crying, his hand twitch, causing Jake to woke up.

"Mom.." the older mumbled again, grasping on Jake's clothe, the younger felt it and turned around, he saw Sunghoon, crying.

He held the older's cheeks, wiping his tears, that made Sunghoon to slowly open his eyes, "Jake.."

"Hm?" The younger hummed in response, "i dreamed about mom.." he whispered, voice cracked.

Jake let out an assuring smile, "do you.." he whispered, he sticked their heads and hold his both hands, "want to visit your parents tommorow?.."

The older nodded, "they also want to meet you" he replied, Jake chuckled, letting go of his hands, slowly embracing him.

Sunghoon just rested his head at his chest, Jake's embrace is definitely his comfort.

"Here is Jake, Mom, Dad and Jaeho He's handsome right?" Sunghoon questioned, staring at his parents and little brother's grave.

Jake is only staring at him, he knows that he'll broke down in any minutes.

The older gulped, "he helped me.. he became my comfort.. and my everything.. he's a person that you should really thank, Mom, Dad.." he whispered, Jake started tearing up.

Sunghoon don't want to cry, he don't want Jake to cry too but little did he know, Jake is too soft that his words are enough to make him cry.

"I'll let him to talk to you so don't be harsh" he said and backs away, he looked at Jake who just cleared his throat and wiped his tears, he let out a soft chuckle.

"Are you done?" Jake asked, pretending that he didn't tear up, "Yes, i am but not you" Sunghoon replied and signalled him to talk to them, Jake pointed at himself, "me?"

Sunghoon nodded, "didn't i told you that they want to see you?" He laughed, the younger gulped.

He glanced over at Sunghoon first, "go on" the older mouthed, he smiled nervously and approach them.

The atmosphere is too intense, it felt like he's really meeting his parents.

He looked back at Sunghoon again, Sunghoon is just cheering him.

"What should i say.." he mumbled.

His hand reached Sunghoon's Mom grave, he never want to touch it but it just move itself.

The wind goes through them, he can feel the presence of someone, "about Sunghoon.. my adi.. don't worry about him.. i'll take care of him and will never leave him, i'll always stay by his side.. and.." he stopped when he heard Sunghoon's sniff, "i'll make sure that he will never feel alone again.. i'll always make him feel loved.. i'll be his shoulder when he want to cry, his person who will be there even with his hardest times."

The wind blows gently, it made Jake to smile, he put down the flowers they bought earlier, "it's so nice meeting you, Mrs. and Mr. Park, also you, Jaeho"

He smiled once again and goes beside Sunghoon, he held his hand, intertwining it, Sunghoon tightened it.

"Thank you, Jake, adi" he thanked, "That's nothing" Jake replied and wiped the dry tears on his cheeks.

"Don't stop yourself from crying.. it's okay to let it out, hm?" He muttered, Sunghoon smiled and nodded, he let out a deep but relief sigh, "Mom, Dad, Jaeho.. we'll go now"

He also put down the flower on his hand, "i love you all"

He smiled once again and start to walk away, his hand and Jake's are still intertwined, not letting go of each other.

"Jake.." Sunghoon called him while walking, "hm?" The younger hummed in response, "is it true?"

"True what?" Jake questioned, "when you said that you'll never leave me.." he mumbled, causing Jake to stop.

Sunghoon turned around, Jake cleared his throat and smiled, "o-of course" he replied.

The older noticed how he sounds not so sure but he chose to ignore it.

After all..
