Andromeda Stark was a well known person since the moment of her birth. Her mother, Marie Marino, had for a long time been a dear friend of her father, Anthony Stark. Then they dated for a while before realising they were better off as friends.
Then the issue appeared.
Well, they were both happy about it and even made plans on how they could manage to work it out, but Marie got sick, and had too many complications during the birth of their daughter.
So Anthony Stark did everything he could to give his daughter the life she deserved. She got everything she needed, but yet learned that she could not get everything she wanted.
She grew up to look a lot like her father with dark hair and dark eyes, but it didn't end there. Due to her early years being spent mostly with only her father there, Andromeda had picked up a lot of his personality.
She knew sarcasm better than any language, and loved nothing better than to sit and screw on something just to see what would happen. She loved stories, but she loved them most when her father was the one to tell them.
She also loved her grandparents. They both lived a luxurious life in Italy, but more than once a year they made an effort to either fly Andromeda over to them or to visit their granddaughter in America.
Andromeda often followed her father whenever he went on trips - wish a few exceptions whenever Tony thought the place might be too dangerous or too boring.
She discovered a love for reading early on. At first it was reading books her grandparents sent her, then it was the instructions to some of her father's many projects (including reading IKEA furniture instructions) and then it was a hobby. She never really went to the library, instead going to different bookshops all over - often accompanied by her father or his assistant, Pepper.
But even when her father and Pepper left for business, Andromeda was never left alone (mostly because she would end up creating some interdimensional portal). Her uncle Rhodey was often set to babysit and Andromeda's cat, Ariadne Stark, was always close to her owner's side.
Ariadne had been a birthday gift from her grandparents the year she turned six, and the Stark girl fell in love the second the black kitten opened her eyes.
Ariadne loved to be wherever Andromeda was. On business trips, by her bookshelf, on her books, watching a movie or even eating dinner. Tony had learned to just accept it. He loved his daughter more than anything and would gladly sacrifice the world for her happiness.
He was the one who taught her almost everything she knew - literally. She was homeschooled, due to his worry with her identity and the fact he could not bear to send her off to some private boarding school where he would almost never see her.
